Spidey, the link didn’t work.
When were you in the back corner of my garage?
Works for me on multiple browsers & multiple devices. Maybe you need to shovel the snow off of your interwebs???
Swampy! You’re going to make the MMP run on time! Cool!
…yes, but are they as sweet as Tupelo Honey? Ummm… :smack:
Somewhere on the board yesterday I remember telling LavenderBlue yesterday to keep one shovel inside “because doors open out”.
I actually woke up in the middle of the night last night & thought, “Wait! I meant to say screen/storm-doors open out!!! Doors open In! Doh…!”
That was easy Good Job…!
After all the snow-hype, I feel like pulling up the weather radar for NJ and razzing it with some “Nya! Nya! You missed us!” fan interjection. The worst part was that the town plow managed to plow part of a frozen Christmas Tree
along with their usual ice boulders under one of the cars. Yes, and all the neighbors stared as I attacked part of a dead frozen Christmas tree stuck on my driveway apron with a pick-axe.
It was a pretty surreal moment.
I’m not even sure how you MAKE a zombie Christmas tree. (Tannenbaum-Leaves???)
Oh, sure. Now it works.
Two possible solutions
-
Get some local rugrat to run to the store for you and get you a pouch of Mail Pouch. Chaw a wad and put a little finger-full of the juice in the corner of your eye. The burning will prevent it from closing for at least 3 hours. Repeat as needed.
-
Just go ahead and nap at your keyboard.
Got a call from our car guys. Front brakes, brake fluid, transmission fluid flush, cabin air filter - coming to a bit over $700. Guess it’s a good thing **FCD **went back to work. And considering we’re over 75K miles, I don’t think these issues are unreasonable. I’m hoping we will have this car for at least 200K miles.
And now, back to making bunnehs and watching Henry VIII kill lots of people.
Congrats on the weight loss, butters!
Apes, we could [del]swipe[/del] borrow clothes from each other.
We had about a half an hour of snow flurries last evening, but the ground was too warm for it to stick. I got my new wheel rim installed. I almost got out of the tire shop drive when I checked to see if he’d thrown the old one in the back of the truck. He hadn’t, so I went back inside and had him bring it out. I can get a chunk of change for an alloy rim at the scrapyard down the road.
** LadyinRed ** I love that idea. A clothing exchange for women who find it hard to find cute clothes in our size. It’s like they think all bigger gals want burlap sacks or tents for clothes
Thank you Ruble
I just woke up from option number 2.
We got more snow, about another inch. More shoveling for the kid. I want him to stay on top of it because I’d like to live here for a while before I get a letter from the town about an snowy walk. I don’t know how vigilant they are.
I got a note in my last electric bill about putting trash out before 4pm which I know was not directed at us, Sah-son never goes out in the light.
I need to decide what to make for dinner.
I don’t know about you, but jeans tend to be my bugaboo. I’m more belly than booty and they tend bag in the butt and hips if they fit in the waist. When I find some that fit well, I buy several pair.
I don’t wear jeans anymore
Meh…I work for a tech outfit. They’re lucky some of the employees show up in clothes at all.
Howdy Y’all! Finally at da cave. Ok, been here a little bit and had the General’s dindin. I scarfed it right down as I was hongry and it was sooooooo gooooooooood! OYKW, bless his heart, headed back to his place to deal with paperirk. Tomorrow, however, shall be taco and spend the night night. YAY!
Hope all y’all in snowpocalypse are makin’ it. I read all but retained little. I’s tahrd! Lot o’ drivin’ today.
Were we in the third grade together? :dubious:
**swampy **- you never do spend the night night at OYKW’s place?
And now that I’ve been nosy, I’m gonna finish making bunnehs. I have 3 more to crochet, then I stitch the pieces together and stuff them. Woohoo!!
MWAH!
Depends. Did your third grade teacher give little bags of M&Ms out to her students who made ninety or above on a test? If she did, then no. Did the wicked witch of the west seem like the Blessed Virgin in comparison to your third grade teacher? If she did, then yes.
And on that note I shall go lie upon the bed and watch teevee until sleepy time. Da bear is tahrd!
Nitey Nite Y’all!
I have now made hats for all my female co-workers. I am tired of this pattern and shall not make any more. I have other projects I need to finish, like this cross-stitch I promised Irish Storyteller two years ago.
sews busily
You had Mrs. Muncie too??? Damn, that bitch got around!
She must have changed her name. I knew her as Mrs. Pointer.
