I’ve been fighting a fungal infection on my nails for the last 9 months. I just took off my work shoes too. I’m not worried that I’ll be starring in any foot fetishists’ dreams any time soon.

I really like those shoes. I had a similar pair that I got from asianideas.com; I keep meaning to get a new pair but the ones I want are out of stock.

No, I just thought this could be a alternate/parallel thread for those disinclined to display their mugs to the general public. I’m a solo traveler, and I take a lot of photos with my feet in the foreground (along with the always popular “waving shadow of myself” shot). Like I said in the OP, I thought it might be fun.
Besides, I didn’t think I’d get a lot of replies if I started a thread called “Post a pic…of your THUMB”
