That’s why my mother is flying up there. She’s going to help my grandma out, and drive her up to the hospital, to get groceries, etc.
I might go up for the weekend in a couple of weeks…honestly, there’s nothing I can do even if I was up there. Which is what hurts the most, I think.
And yes, I’m asking for well wishes for all of us. We all sorta need it. weak smile

I know how hard it is to do at a time like this, but try looking at the bright side to make you feel a little better. Take comfort in the fact that he didn’t die from the heart attack. Take comfort in the fact that bypass surgery is very common and has an extremely high success rate (remember how well Wally did!). Count your blessings at this time, instead of the tragedies and it will help get you through the rough spots.

Thanks Scotti.
He’s still in the hospital. The surgery is scheduled for 8:15 tomorrow morning. I called him today…he sounds so nervous. He keeps wondering if he’ll make it through the surgery. And I had to be the one going “Of course you will,” when I’m fucking nervous as hell myself!!!
