Scheduling the MMP

Bumba I think ReStore will come and get stuff. They have done for me in the past. Salvation Army does for furniture, but not for smaller things. Good luck. Clearing stuff is always difficult.

I feel a nap coming on, then I shall take Pepper pup to the dog park, fetch 'Beamette from school, and come home to make roasted chicken for supper. A busy day for me, but I am meeting my goals: take care of the pup, and feed the family.

Got my flu shot this afternoon and Monday I’z getting my shingles shot. I will be all vaccinated and ready!

The woman across the street from the rent house was dumping trash in my trash can there. She was also cooking meth. The tenant sat in a lounge chair and watched the SWAT team throw flash bang grenades into the house.

Why do I always miss out on the good stuff? :dubious:

wet one, good on ya getting your flu shot. i should, and I know it, but not getting the flu for 35 years straight, guess i like my run…

FCM, late to lunch for work? Well time flies when your having fun…or is it fun times when your’re having flies?

flytrap, My trashcan stays in the garage until pickup day (today).

**Bumba, ** you could always stop paying rent on the storage locker and maybe it’ll show up on one of those storage auction shows…

swampy, hope Miss Becky gets to feeling better.

Not much to report. Cheeseburger and corn on the cob ingested and Girls 10-U soccer practice in about 2 hours. Might actually get a week in without a practice being rained out.

Cracker Barrel is making supper tonight, per FCD’s request. We’ll head out as soon as we feed Higglet.

Thus beginneth my weekend.

A flu shot is a condition of employment, being as I irk in a hospital although non-clinical. Plus it’s free. How can I resist?

Mooom, have some hash brown casserole at CB for me. And grilled catfish. Num.

**FCD **loves the catfish there. I like the haddock. I have to avoid the hash brown casserole - it’s dangerous!!

Got maybe 3-4 hours of sleep last night, then worked 9 hours. Home, tired. My only chore left is to make a pizza and then I’m vegging on the couch with John Oliver and Samantha Bee.

Howdy Y’all! Sonny’s did an outstandin’ job of makin’ dindin. I had leftover baked beans and a chikin boob and wing. OYKW will have that for N.O.L. tomorrow so he’s happy.

MOOOOOOM it was more of a case of pick up my neighbor’s can and then not get mine. It was like the trash guy couldn’t comprehend there were two trash cans there. He either finally wised up or got the ax. My trash started gettin’ picked up and that’s all I cared about.

{{{Miss Becky}}}

Congrats to Pepper Pup sunny! She sounds like a smart puppy.

wet one, I got my flu shot last week when I picked up a prescription, will get the pneumonia shot in a couple of weeks when I go the PCP, but don’t take a shingles shot as I’ve never had chicken pox.

My day wasn’t bad, but tomorrow, I’m flying solo as one of my cow-orkers is out. Tonight, I must give Mr. Hedgehog a few stitches. Nelson has chewed a hole in part of it, but there’s nothing loose for him to choke on, so a repair is in order.

Yeah, as the zonk!
I figure I’m paid up through the end of the month, and there’s a few things in there that I want to keep, so I’ll just clean it out in the next few days.
I think the ReStore guys here will pick up too, Sunny, but I need to sort through the stuff first, and it might be easier to just toss the stuff I know I don’t want into the truck as I’m sorting.

Wifey and I went to the Dos Mundos Mexican food truck for tacos for lunch, and as we were siting around afterwards, I reached for my Lime Jarritos and felt a piercing pain in the palm of my right hand. A wasp/demon had been exploring my plate and decided it hadn’t filled it’s quota of assholeishness for the day, and stung me! (is so a word!)

 We have a much repaired squeeky toy too, except it’s not a hedgehog, it’s a long out-of-print Boodamonster. We’d get a new one if we could, but they don’t appear to make that one anymore, so we just keep repairing the old, well-loved one. :D.

Red Have you had a chicken pox vaccine? In honor of Mr. Hedgehog, I am looking for a cute video I saw of a very worried pup watching as his “mom” sewed up his giraffe. He was so happy when it was fixed and he got it back.

Remember how I’m running in a race this weekend? I was chasing a student down the hall today and my knee made a little popping sound. :dubious: I’ve been icing it and taking Aleve. Right now it’s only slightly ouchy. I hope that it’s up to the task of 6 miles.

bumba, I bought two hedgehogs (2F1) when I got them. He likes them so well, that I plan on making repairs until the squeakies die.

sunny, my childhood BFF sent me a video of her repairing her pug’s lovey as an instruction. :stuck_out_tongue: I did have a chicken pox vaccine as an adult. They weren’t available when I was a kid (I’m old), but a few years ago, my PCP suggested getting one because I am around both kids and adults succeptible to shingles who could pass the virus to me.

Ouch bumba and sticky!

Mr. Hedgehog has been stitched up. We’ll see how long it lasts. :stuck_out_tongue:

Work was busy, and I was by myself. More work in the A.M.

Sounds like the neighborhood I used to leave in.

WetOne, I got my flu shot in July.

red, Gordie doesn’t destroy his toys. He’s had some of them for 5 years or more.

Bumba, ouch!

Sunny, congrats to Pepper Pup.

Good grief flytrap! How did I miss that post? The View Last Unread thing just does not work. Did the tenant at least get any pictures? Reminds me of the drug gang fights that used to break out in the neighborhood when I was a kid, only those had more guns. Good times. Good times.

I missed out on most of my goals for the day. I did some training with Pepper, and she did get to play with her friends, but we didn’t make it to the dog park. I also did not make it to the dog park. Not a great day for the old noggin.

I think Nut asked about the relocation to the UK. Well, it may or may not happen. If it does happen, it will be next summer. Right now we’re in this weird Schrodinger’s move state, where we act as though we are and are not moving. For example, we are buying an RV this weekend. Why? Because we’ve always wanted one. Does it make sense to do it if we’re moving to the UK in 9 months. Nope. I think at this point that it will not happen, which undoubtedly guarantees that it will happen by Halloween. :stuck_out_tongue:

We’ve driven from Tipton to Michigan’s Adventure a couple times. Corn — lots and lots of corn. And Indiana Beach. After all, there’s more to Indiana than just corn.

Hmmm – suddenly, the past day or two, the quote function seems to be wonky for me. Sorry if it causes any confusion.

I did wonder about the RV buying, I thought I’d missed a post saying the move was all off or something. I hope you find out one way or another soon, I was in moving limbo for a couple of months earlier this year, and it’s a really annoying place to be.

First week of the actual course is now finished (no class on firday). It all looks really interesting, aside from the compulsory employability module the college insists on for all students. I’m not sure what it is about people who teach those, but they all seem to have the ‘talking to toddlers’ voice. She keeps putting up ‘motivational’ pictures like a kitten looking into a mirror and seeing a lion. That is not confidence, that is delusion.

Fingers crossed for the car going in for its test this morning. I don’t know of any problems, but I always worry.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.

: crosses fingers for the Nutmobile :
