I opened my package this morning and was greeted with the most luscious scent of lavender, which is my absolute favorite! Thank you, Rhiannon8404, for the handmade soap, olive crackers (which will be consumed today, I bet) and the very cool kitteh earrings!
For those who have not received, I can assure one of you that a package is on its way! (I won’t say which one, though.)
I opened the present that Anaamika sent me. It was just what I needed, a paper towel holder. The best part is that it matches the rest of the things in my kitchen. Thanks Anaamika.

Septima, I’m so glad you got it in time. When I mailed it, they made it sound like I had to choose the two-day International shipping ($86!) to get it there in time.

I want to thank Aceplace57 for the absolutely amazing Christmas present. I am a great fan of Ernie Bushmiller, and the rare comics page from 1941 is awesome. While I possess several collections of Bushmiller’s work, I previously owned no original newspaper copy. Fortunately, I have a good friend who manages a framing business, and I will be having her handle the art so it will be protected on its single full page sheet. You sir, made my Christmas day.
The hat also is greatly appreciated. I had never heard of the Felsenthal Wildlife Refuge, but a quick search this evening yielded many beautiful pictures. Aceplace57, I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. Thank you ever so much. Above and beyond!
