I’m in; email sent! This is my first year with you guys, and it’ll be nice to participate in this.
I am a married male in my 50s. A gift from the sender’s locale would be great. My T-shirt size is 2XL; my favorite color is blue; I am a fan of the San Francisco Giants and 49ers; I have a dog, and she’s an 8-year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever; I like motorcycling and photography of nature and architecture; I like travelling, road trips, and I’ve been to all states except Alaska; and for reading it’s almost exclusively nonfiction for me, about history or leadership (military, or corporate). I do not collect trinkets / “stuff” - I call that clutter.
Hm, what ideas- I love animals (weirder the better), local or crafty stuff is good, I’m not allergic to any foodstuffs (though I am vegetarian), and I’ll be excited by pretty much anything- though I’m not religious, and not particularly girly.
Can I just add a reminder to anyone posting internationally to check the restrictions before posting- I think my last swap didn’t make it through customs…
I want in! I like…well, I like neat stuff. Local and hand made are good, but not required. I am a female LARPer who is into classical and folk music, fairy tales, artsy things, crochet, pocket knives, gadgets, and shiny things.
I would love to participate in the exchange this year!
Since I am new, and people here don’t know me yet, I will list some things about me to help out my Secret Santa:
– 28 year old Canadian female
– Love all bright colours, soft things, & sparkly things
– Enjoy handmade crafty stuff (especially paintings) from your area
– Quirky practical items are always appreciated (e.g. Kitchen gadgets)
– I collect fun Christmas ornaments, soapstone items, mittens & scarves (It’s cold up here!)
– I love animals (especially elephants and puppies)
– Dallas Cowboys (NFL) fan
– Please no food, clothing, or religious items

Looks like I have e-mails from everyone, too.
Remember folks, Friday’s the deadline. I did say the 30th, and you’ll probably get an e-mail from me at midnight on Friday night. I’m going to be away all weekend and I don’t want to punish the early responders by making them wait until Monday.
I’ll join in. Female. First, please no scented things, I get headaches from some perfumes. I’m allergic to peanuts, but I can safely eat plain Hershey’s chocolate bars, plain M&Ms, and Starburst candies.
My favorite colors are blue, then green, or purple. I like landscape and nature photographs. I love to hike, and take nature photographs myself with my little Nikon Coolpix L22 point n shoot. I’m not religious, but I love the season of winter. (Though Autumn is my favorite season, and I love leaves.) I love the night sky, and find NASA images fascinating. I love beads, and nifty jewelry findings. (Toggle clasps, earring chandeliers, spacer beads, connector beads etc.) I also like stationary, and unusual ink colors. I have a small collection of folding fans. (A lot of them souvenirs from museums or Ren Faires.) I also have a small collection of chopstick sets, which I use in my hair. I’m fond of cats, as well as dragons and other mythical beasts. I love Celtic and Norse zoomorphs, as well as their knotwork.
I’m in!
I an avid knitter, and anything yarn-related would be perfect, especially if there is some sort of locally produced stuff where you are.
I love murder mysteries, fantasy, and well-written non-fiction (science and history being favorites), so if you’re having a pre-christmas culling of the book-collection, just send some my way.
I love beads, soaps, celtic and viking knots, and anything with dragons or victorian-inspired.
But honestly, I’ll like just about anything. Send me something you think everyone should like, and I’ll be happy.
I am a female nerd with a love of Dr. Who, Firefly, Star Wars, Star Trek, et cetera.
I recently got my first apartment in a very long time, and I’m short on all manner of household items - silly things like refrigerator magnets, pot holders, and knick-knacks for the mantle. I also have two kitties, who could certainly use more kitty things. Favorite colors are blue and green.
Last night I was thinking about things I need around the house. Since I’m a single guy again I don’t have things like paper towel holders, toilet paper holders. Its things like that that I would like to have but never remember when I’m out buying stuff because, well I’m a guy.
Grats, birthdays are a great excuse to pamper oneself!
And since I opted to get an international target, I will apologize ahead of time if it doesn’t get there by Christmas. Think of it as a Tres Reyes present =)
I’m in - I think at the very last minute practically! (At least I hope I made it!)
Let’s see:
41 y o American woman
Size medium or small - I’m hobbit-sized at 4’10"
Love to read many things, especially travel narratives, nonfiction that reads like fiction, top-notch books from nearly any genre (except self-help and religion, for whatever reason)
Quite quirky and love quirky things of all descriptions (asked my kids for an ant farm for Christmas and Sea Monkeys too)
Fine with handmade things of all sorts (oh, but not that creepy doll that covers the toilet roll - those are terribly unsettling in one’s wc)
Fave colors: Blue, I reckon, any shade. Fond of black also (technically not a color, but the lack therof?)
I love octopi, bats, spiders, elephants - most animals in fact, wild especially
