Proceed with extreme caution. Veryhard to tell at this point. Getting either one of them in the 8th round is good value, but you shouldn’t reach for or expect a lot from either at this point. It may be a year of 50/50.
Anyone else think it would be a bad idea for leagues to have an RB by committee draft option. Such as rather than having, say, Marshall Faulk, you could draft “Ram’s RB’s” and get all of the accumulated points. It could help out a lot with about 5 teams doing the committee thing now. And it just sucked having Bennett in my money league piling up all those yards and Moe getting, what, 12 TD’s?
Agree that it’s not a good idea. Research on who will lilkely bee the starter and gambling on where in the draft to take someone who is not a clear-cut starter (but may be) is all part of the fun, IMO.
mrchan you are officially a pee pee head. I was positive my Fins D would make it to me in 11. I only predrafted GB under them for like… no reason. Glargh. Plus my pres for 12 got eaten up too.
Well, I thought that things would slow down a bit over the weekend. I’m just surprised more folks haven’t gone on autopilot. I think we’ll finish this puppy up sometime on Monday or Tuesday, which is not too bad for a long weekend.
So Hamlet is the next to succumb to computer selection; he got Kordell for his troubles. For some reason I seem to recall that he is a Packers fan, in which case the selection smacks of delicious irony, just as when Jarbaby got stuck with Favre in our SDMB league last year. And whoever owns Third Ward Souljas is coming close to being next in the computer control derby.
Man, it must have been by the skin of your teeth. You were down to 37 minutes last I looked. Who is this mysterious Boerigter of whom you speak? The name is vaguely familiar. I remember just before last fantasy season trying to determine who was worthwhile to pick up from KC, as we figured that eventually they might be dangerous, with Vermeil as coach and all. But after awhile it was nigh on impossible to get many details about the Chefs, since they were so mediocre in an otherwise strong division.
20 receptions, 8TDs. They guy just came on real strong at the end of the season. There were many other guys up there that were sure things to put up decent stats, but I think this guy could emerge as KC’s #1. Who’s going to stop him, Kennisin? Morton? Not a chance.
Well, Baba, you said that he’ll be “the #1 reciever in the NFL this season”, which may have been hyperbole, but it’s a long way from 20 catches and 8 TDs to the best receiver in the league.
