How many flushes, winning and losing, were there last night?
I had the 3-2 of Spades and the flop was A-4-7 spades. Ergo, flopped the lowest flush possible but a draw to a straight flush. Peeker went all-in with 5-8 of spades. So I was drawing dead. After that hand treaded water btwn 800-1500 chips for a long long time. I wasn’t getting any good cards, but I made the most of what I had.
And then I kept sucking out and doubled or (nearly) tripled. Deuces were very very good to me, and even got to a small chip lead for a hand or two.
When it got to heads up btwn Red and me, my hands went to hell.
I am not sure if I had any more flushes (winners or losers).

I had A-x of spades (might have been a 7, don’t remember) Three players. One spade on the flop. One spade on the turn. A minimum bet, I call. A spade on the river, and I make the nut flush.
Lost all my chips to Skeezy, who had flopped a full house and slow played.
I fucking hate flushes. I lose to them all the time; can’t remember the last time I won with one.
Does anyone else think this guy signed up specifically so he coule play some poker with you?
I need to get back into this thing. Last Thursday my internet at home was down (and surprisingly, still is, along with my phone…thanks Comcast!) and the two weeks before that life got in the way. Damn.
I have the same setup, but our Comcast only goes down once in a while (twice in the last 6 months) and never for longer than an hour or so.

We can always hope so. Pocket rockets are a sure way to lose in our game.

I have to attend graduation tonight. I don’t know if I will be home for the start of the game. So, I registered for the tournament early. Hopefully, I will not be blinded out before I get home.
