I should be on the sent list!
Add me to the “received” list - today, from Toms River NJ (Typo Knig will be intrigued; he went to boarding school there a few centuries ago). I have not opened the package - will do so later today.
I should be on the sent list, but the one small item I mail-ordered is taking for-freaking-EVER to arrive. I may have to send the other things first and forward the remaining one when it arrives
Monday’s update! With typoes fixed even.

Ummm… there’s no “e” in “typos.”
Thanks. I even considered adding “…with new ones added in, most likely!” but decided not to. Guess I should have.
Package sent this morning. With 10 days of vacation in the month so far, I am a little behind. Not sure how Christmas is next week already.
I have paper cuts on my tongue from licking envelopes. Waah.
UPS kindly informs me that the customer will be picking up the parcel within five business days.
I must have been very, very good this year.
I was very surprised when I found a second Doper package in my mailbox, from gardentraveler filled with yummy, popcorn-y goodness.
So a great big thanks to both my Santas!
Well, darling, you volunteered to send to two, so I only thought it was fair that you should get two.
My giftee has not been forgotten. In fact, that person is foremost in my mind. I’m just waiting until next paycheck so that I can get it. I will most certainly break the $10 limit a few times over, so I’m just waiting until I can afford to do so. I’ll mail it out Priority the next day. It should hopefully arrive somewhere between the 24th and 27th.
I’m making no promises on which month, though.
Ok, I’m adding myself to received! I got a lovely book called “Motherless Brooklyn”, by Jonathan Lethem. It seems to be a detective novel.
I also got a bookbag with it, from the Strand, which advertises “18 miles of books” apparently. Wow. Will have to visit it sometime. I’ll use the bookbag for my library trips.
Thanks, TheMerchandise!
You can put me on the “received” list. My gift has been received, displayed, drunk, and eaten.
ETA: I just noticed that I’m on the “sent” list twice, so you probably already tried to add me to the other one and slipped.
Thanks very much, SomeUserName, for sending me Kosher Cajun Cookbook – I know what I’m making for Shabbat dinner!
You can add me to the received list as well, Mika. There was a package from Susie Derkins waiting for me when I got home. Now that I’ve unpacked it, I’m not sure how she fit everything in there: chocolate (two kinds, one German and one Swiss), earrings - very cute and different from any others I own, two toys for my desk (the fish, especially, will amuse many, I’m sure), and a lovely, soft, raspberry-ish chenille scarf. Which I’m wearing at this very moment because it’s cold in here and scarves always help. I don’t remember mentioning my unhealthy relationship to scarves upthread. I have quite a few and love them all dearly. This one contrasts very nicely with the black coat I bought on Saturday.
Which is a long-winded way to say: Thanks, Susie!!!
Glad to see my package arrived as well.
Thanks for organizing this, Mika. It was lots of fun.

As promised, my Secret Santa gift is winging it’s way to the mid-west, priority mail. My apologies for them not being inside the gift bag.
You’re very welcome! I had no idea that you had a scarf addiction (:p), but I felt that one at the store and knew I had to include it. I’m glad that you liked it!
You can add me to the “sent” list now. DHL are picking up the package as I type and it should very shortly be winging its way across the Middle East, over the Mediterranean and out across the Atlantic, headed towards the US of A, hopefully to arrive in Indiana by no later than the 24th!
Your welcome and I am glad you have found a recipe already
Kat, I finally opened the presents you sent yesterday evening. Thank you! They’re wonderful! The bath stuff smells very nice, and the puzzle books have my favorite. I knocked off about 10 kakuros before going to bed last night.
Thank you, and Happy Christmas!
And successfully received
I opened it last night thinking if it was something giftwrapped I’d pop it under the newly-decorated tree to make things a bit more festive, and found a yummy package of sausages and cheese from Hickory Farms. Mmmmmm, salt and fat and munchies and they’re MINE ALL MINE BWAHAHAHAHA
Typo Knig looked a bit nervous at the included mini-cleavers, Not that I’d ever threaten him with kitchen implements to keep him in line, mind you…
