DHL sucks. They said the package went out from the local (to my giftee) office Friday. But Giftee hasn’t gotten it yet. Waaaaaah!
Mine is on its way, but may be late for christmas - sorry!

Mailed, finally. To a recipient who lives not that far from where I used to live (howzat for a non-hint?). A caution to the recipient: the package actually contains 4 separate wrapped items, two of which are small enough to get lost in the styro peanuts. One of the small things is taped to another item but who knows if they’ll still be taped when they arrive.

Mine only went out today due to the insanity that is my job, but they said it would be in VA in 5-7 workdays, so it should make it there right after Christmas. shame
There’s a package for me at the PO! I’m assuming it’s from my secret santa - since I never get packages from anyone else. They say they missed me.
I’ve been sitting here since 9:30AM. 
My package arrived today from Georgia … which gave me some hint of who my Secret Santa is. Being the can’t wait type, I tore open the package nearly as soon as I got home. OMG, my Santee sent me a veritable treasure trove!!! Thank you so very much Snakes Cat Lady (who is known to the MMPers as SCL)- I am overwhelmed!
Here is a list of what was in the treasure trove (forgive me, SCL, if I leave anything out!): first thing I found was a pen, then I uncovered a soft lilac-colored throw, which was protecting a snowman coffee mug that contained strawberry candy. There was also another mug, with pictures of cat all around - at that point, I knew the package was from SCL, even though I hadn’t gotten to the card yet. That’s not all, though, there’s more!! There were two beanie babies: a black and white dolphin named Echo and a Christmas horse named Starlight (he has a little christmas tree). There was still more in the box!! SCL also included a bag of fresh rosemary (OMG, it smells delicious, and will be put to very good use!), since she didn’t have any tarragon. Then I found a silver lava lamp nightlight (LOL you know, I cannot sleep in the dark!!! my secret is out …); needless to say, this will come in quite handy for me. 
Next were some pomegranite scented facial cleansing masks. Now we’re getting into the food part … a large bar of Ghiradelli intense dark mint bliss 60% cacao (my god, that stuff is GOOD!).
But wait, there was still more!!! SCL also sent me a bracelet and earrings set that she made!!! It is so pretty; I’m going to wear it to the office holiday party tomorrow, and in my favorite colors (blue & green). She also sent 6 (six!) bottles of bath and shower gels: chocolate caramel, vanilla cream, mint chocolate chip, chocolate covered strawberry, hazelnut and chocolate, and raspberry swirl. LOL I’ll be good enough to eat!!!
And … and there was a very nice personalized card, done by SCL in calligraphy. Thank you again so much!! It’s beautiful.
I have the throw over my shoulders now, it will keep me warm when I’m up on the computer, especially late at night! I can’t thank you enough, SCL; you are a Super Sweet Secret Santa!!!

Mine arrived yesterday from Scarlett67, with all sorts of Doper lingo written on the outer wrapping. I hope that made the mail delivery person scratch his/her head!
I’m going to control myself and not open it until Christmas. Must…not…unwrap…
My package went out priority mail today. The weather over the weekend derailed my plans to get it in the mail Saturday. If the USPS is as good as their word, it should arrive no later than the 22nd.
Er, um, howdja know it was me? I don’t think I put my Doper name on the outside. (I have a sneaking suspicion that we may have corresponded at some point using real names, and I just doofusly forgot. That or you’re a heckuva sleuth. Granted, I’ve got my real location posted, but it could have been from one of those people “in the ether” and so on.)
Anyway, now I’m on tenterhooks, hoping to find out if you enjoy the contents!!!

I managed to hit the UPS Customer Center on the way to my doctor’s appointment and picked up a ginormous (that’s only a small exaggeration: it’s 20" x 15" x 10") package, which my sister’s cat is currently sitting on.
Should I open it?
According to the tracking info, it was in scanned in Laurel at 6:18 PM today.

My present just arrived from Munich, Germany. Of course, I could not resist opening it right away. Yummy chile pralines! nice and hot! I think I have to up the chile content in my own chocolate chile christmas cookie recipe from a teaspoon to a tablespoon, I have not been sufficiently adventurous in this year’s bake!!! And a jar of honey-dill-mustard sauce, and a calendar sized just right for its leafs to serve as bookmarks. Thanks, Einmon
