If it’s me, our mail was being held until the building manager fixed the mailboxes. Two weeks later  they’re finally fixed and we’ll start getting mail again on Monday.
Opened my gift last night. I received a t-shirt and some candy from a local candy store. Thank you, MsRobyn.
It arrived!!! Thank you Misstake
So I had to pick it up at a local postal outlet, and when I got there, there was one person at the counter posting a package. Twenty minutes later, I am still in line while the clerk tries to sort out an issue with the payment terminal, so when I finally got my package, I did not take it home to open like a grown up, but tore it apart in the van.
Where to start… a pretty card, a really nice big mug, with chocolates hidden under the tissue, a small package of coffee, then a package of really yummy looking wild rice soup mix that I can cook in my crockpot, then the squeee moment - a bone shaped christmas ornament with I Love My Dog on it, which is just so me, lol. Just when I thought I was done, I found one more - the sweetest little bear shaped jar of local honey. Santa has been very generous to me this year.
Glad you liked your gifties, MissTake!
And IvoryTowerDenizen: are you my Santa? I saw ITD as the name on the box that was waiting for me last night on the porch. I opened the box but am trying to save the package for Christmas since I don’t usually have much under the tree. And excuse the late thanks – had eldest daughter’s pre-graduation shindig last night and her graduation today. Finally got to a computer, and thanks again for the wonderful Christmas surprise!!!
My gift arrived today! Thank you, Tread!
Got a lovely blank journal, some gel pens, and a cute Santa card.
I love blank books–something new to write story ideas in!
You’re welcome. Enjoy!
Tracking info says mine was delivered!
Yup, that’s me! I hope you like it! I’m glad to add to your Christmas loot!
I got a wonderful gift from JAPAN!
A couple of wonderful cat things: a wonderful cat trivet and two stickers. And a pair of fancy bottles of salt. I’m excited to try them!
Thank you so much, Santa! I don’t see a name, so I’m guessing KinkiNipponTourist?
:D:D:D ho ho ho!
Tracking says mine was delivered and left with a person. Now I wait.
Since my husband likes me to give a detailed list, and then buys everything on it, my Secret Santa gift may be my only surprise this Christmas!
I got my package from Hockey Monkey last night, but didn’t have time to post. I am still squee-ing!!!
Lots of presents! The first thing unwrapped was a lovely, hand-crocheted, chenille scarf. It’s so soft and fuzzy!
Second was a super cool necklace that I would have sworn was vintage if Hockey Monkey hadn’t told me that she made it! (Which makes it even cooler!) Thanks for taking the time to make something you designed specifically for me. I even wore it out to dinner last night!
Next out of the box of wonders was German and Austrian Chocolate that I haven’t had time to try yet, but I don’t think it will last too long.
Finally, was a card with a snowman ornament which, as you can see, is already on my tree.
Thanks so much Hockey Monkey!
You are so welcome! I’m so happy you liked everything!
I think this is right.

The bad thing about being the first to get a package - I feel all left out now! No more anticipation, just vicarious thrills for everyone else.
Maybe next year I’ll request a SS who puts things off till the last minute.
Thanks so much for wrangling this, Silvorange! Ya done good!
I’m too damn efficient! FCM, if I get you next year I’ll join the procrastinator’s club.
**peedin **- I appreciate you not pointing out the obvious - like WAIT TILL CHRISTMAS TO OPEN!!!
Woohoo! I got mine this morning! I opened the door to start the car and a package fell into the house. The mailman stuck it between the door and the screen door.
Possessing positively NO patience, I started my car and then scurried back to my seat on the couch. I opened it to find three packages and a card! One of the packages said OPEN LAST so I set that aside. I also had a row of lovely Lindt snowmen.
First package I opened was a lovely, delicate snowflake ornament! My tree is in blue and silver and the ornament matches perfectly! It’s already on my tree.
Second package was - a hand-knitted scarf! Does my Secret Santa know how much I love scarves! And yet despite having many - 12 or so at last count - I did not have even one in the color that my Santa sent me - beautiful sea green. I put this on today and wore it to work. It is wonderful!
I opened the last package and I swear I heard a plainitive “meow” and felt something slip past my ankles. Inside was a picture of the tormenter of the yarn and a bit of his spirit. Is it a he?
Here is the picture!

Thank you so much, slightly askew! I love it all!
FCM I have to admit I have a little bit of anticipation left because my Santee has patience and is not opening their gift until Christmas. So I am still waiting for when they post!
Silvorange, thank you so much for coordinating all this!
Well, uh, happy birthday, Silvorange! I didn’t even think about the Kentucky Derby connection, but hey! Whatever works. Full disclosure: while I made the bracelet, my mom made the hat. Team effort FTW!
I almost gave in during a moment of weakness last weekend but I’m still holding onto my gift, so I’ll wander back here later to squeeeeee all about it.
Still no word on our holiday boxers recipient?
