YAY! Thank you for letting me participate again. I don’t come to the Dope very much anymore, but I love Secret Santa. I just remembered that I needed to check about it today though. Whew!
Now that we have that out of the way, I love fuzzy socks, mouse figures/ornaments, dachshunds, and I crochet for fun. I also love cooking and eating. If you have something unique to your area of the world, I’d love to try it.

Went right out and bought some yarn for a crochet project, and started it today. Hope I will be done in time!

Last night my package from ThelmaLou arrived. It is as yet unopened. I am not sure if it will make it to Christmas, but I am waiting until it at least feels a bit more like Christmas to open it.
The secret santa parcel went to the post office today!
The post office here is always an experience. You bring everything to the post office. They have to inspect each item. They did reject a few items that were prohibited. Then you pack the box. You have to wrap it in a special paper. Which, of course, they don’t sell there. So, you buy it at the paper store before going to the post office. Good news is, he informed me that it will arrive in three weeks. So, hopefully before the holiday.
I enjoyed shopping for the items on the wish list. I went to many (10) stores to find the items and compare prices. Most of the stores I had never been in. I usually don’t buy these items. I like spending money locally, as I realize it helps my neighbors. So, it was fun.
The package is on its way. I hope it arrives and unharmed. And thank you for playing secret santa 2017.
