I remember a few threads that I’d like some updates on, if these subjects are things you guys still feel OK about posting to the SDMB about.

Mouse_Maven–how’s the job search coming? What happened after that one interview you had? They sounded like they might have been interested; did they bring you back for a second interview and/or make you an offer?

Belrix–How’s your life been? I hope things are starting to look up for you.

Foxy40–How’ve you been since we saw your thread about your divorce settlement?

Oh cool, I love these threads! Here’s what I’d like to know. . .

Jplacer, did you ever find your Mystery cat’s owner, or are you now one kitty richer?

What the … !!!, what did you end up seeing and/or doing on your trip to St. Louis, and how did your daughter’s tour of Wash U go?

Eva Luna, what gifts did you end up buying for your friend’s kids and how did they like them? Perhaps I might get some ideas for the kids in our family who’re on the other side of the pond, as well.

Dr. Drake, did you ever get your immigration issues resolved or find a better attorney who could properly advise you?

UKCatGirl, what ever happened with your roommate? Is she still living there, and if so, is she still complaining of allergies, or did the product you bought for the cat work? If it did, I’d love to know what it was so perhaps I could mitigate my own cat allergies.

NAF1138, did you ever nail your check-bouncing employer for the money they owed you? Have you found a new job yet?

Reloy3, how did the election go? You won the primary race; did you win the election and are you the new County Attorney?

I lost the election. I had the best showing of any Democrat in our county, but it wasn’t enough. I’ve been busy setting up and running my private law office.

Yep. Vegas. Two main reasons:

  • Considering the sheer amount of nothing we intend to do, the legwork and expenses of traveling overseas didn’t really seem worth it.

  • Considering the sheer amount of nothing we intend to do, where “gambling” is considered to be “something”, a Vegas vacation can be had on the cheap. Free passive entertainment abounds.
