I know my giftee got the gift, but I’m hoping he’ll send a postcard or note to let me know his reaction, because, well, um, he’s not gonna be posting here anymore.
I got my Secret Santa gift today-A box of handmade Vermont truffles and some McDonalds gift certificates:) Thank you, Whatmove!
Of course, my lovely wife saw the box first, but she says that I can keep the McDonalds certificates.

Today a package arrived from my Secret Santa amarinth!
In it I found some yummy chocolates, an Onion page-a-day calendar (YAY!!!) and some strawberries & champagne lotions. All things that match up with my wish list.
so yay! I love it when gifts spread themselves out. Thank you, amarinth, I’m going to enjoy these gifts. I’m trying NOT to go forward in time and look at tomorrow’s calendar entry. Must not!!!
I just got back after a week at my parents’, and a lovely package was awaiting me…

Well,
on december 19, someone very kind mailed a gift to me, at my office (because trying to get anything at home involves pain and suffering, so I have all packages sent to the office) and I’m sure it arrived shortly after.
Sadly, the office was closed all last week, and just re-opened this morning.
It was very tough coming in, much less sitting down and trying to work, and then my day was brightened when the office manager brought over a package containing a gorgeously wrapped angel ornament and some delicious chocolates.
But, there was a real name on the return address, but I don’t know the screenname of my secret Santa.
Still, thank you very much, whoever you are!

Glad you liked it. Was a bit of a scramble at the end, as I was running late. But then again I always run late, so at least I wasn’t surprised. 
Oh, and how did I know about the frogs? At first I called Miss Cleo, but she’s not psychic anymore. Then I tried John Edwards, but he’s a pretentious no talent hack, who just happens to have the god given gift to lay it on with a trowel. Then I got smart and looked at page two of this thread where you said you liked frogs and fuzzy socks. I’m brilliant.
And for the record, you should all be petitioning for Zyada as your secret Santa for next year. Her gift to me was amazingly perfect. Maybe she should go into the psychic business.

Nope, I am too. I got a nice anonymous holiday card before Christmas (and now I know my Secret Santa mailed the card from the Cleveland area!), but I eagerly await a package. I don’t mind the wait as it spreads out the holiday cheer a bit.
And I am also still on the couch…just so my secret santa knows!!!

My gift was returned to me with a note saying insufficant address. But the last time my giftee even posted to the board was in this thread saying he was in.
