That’s cool. I wasn’t expecting to receive anything anyways. Feel free to surprise me, but if you want some ideas: perhaps some sort of chew toy for my dog? He’s not particular about what he plays with. I like used books (fiction and non-fiction) on any subject. Something local from your area would be nice. Anything is fine really, don’t go through too much trouble. I’ll send you my address later today.

Come home and guess what’s on my doorstep? My Santa gift in a Disney mailer!! And, seeing as I have no self-restraint, I ripped into it and found… a wrapped gift. Little angel on one shoulder whispers, See? You can save it till Christmas. The lil’ debble on the other says Shut the hell up! We got gifts here!
Thank you tarragon918 for my happy presents. Chocolate! White Chocolate Truffles that will not see morning! And I love the scent of the B&BW stuff. It’s in the cutest little poofy, furry purse. But the furry little pom-pom tie has been liberated by my cat and she’s currently rubbing all over it like it’s cat nip. Merry Christmas to us both!

You weren’t supposed to open it until Christmas. And I see you must have torn through it since I wrapped it like three times! The mug came from a drive to raise money here at work. The cookie cutter came from Iris’ work. I was going to screw with you because they had 8-track tapes, but they wanted $2 each for them. Next year though, next year.

Heh, heh. See, *that’s * what I wanted! Some silliness! The point of all of this for me is the humor and goofiness. And yeah, I did go a bit crazy unwrapping the cookie cutter. For a minute I htought there might not be anything in there at all, and that really cracked me up! I didn’t realize that you wanted me to wait until Christmas to open the presents, though; sorry! The cat was getting all into the styrofoam peanuts so I just sort of dug through the stuff instead of actually emptying the box… you all probably included instructions to that effect.
You know, it’s funny… the stuff I got smacked of regifting and it was hilarious because that’s the kind of shit I do all the time! And, oh, man, I would’ve peed myself laughing if I’d gotten eight-track tapes. I might have actually gone on E-Bay and gotten a stereo with an eight-track player so I could play them. I’m actually old enough that I used to really *have * a stereo with an eight-track tape player.

YAY!! My Secret Santa gifts arrived tonight!! Thank you, Secret Santa Tamryne - it is just what I wanted. I had been waiting for another delivery today, so the Secret Santa package was a very pleasant surprise. Woo hoo, Christmas is -almost- here!!! I have, as you guessed, already opened the package, eaten some of the chocolates (my favorites!) and will have coffee from my new mug tomorrow morning. Thank you again and YAY! for Secret Santa!!!
