Bullshit. The doctors didn’t almost kill you, you did it to yourself because you’re a dumbass. THEY didn’t make the decision to drink while on medication, after being explicitly told not to – you did that. They didn’t force that booze down your throat, you did.
OK, assuming these “doctors” were psychiatrists, they would have prescribed a dosage, then monitored how it affected you. If what bobkitty says is true, you were drinking heavily and overmedicating yourself. My roommate did that, and he’s been in rehab for the past year. This isn’t something you blame on the doctors.
I’m certainly not qualified to diagnose mental disorders, but you do act like my bipolar neighbor when he’s been drinking, with the way you obsess on the same details repeatedly. It’s like you’re trying to convince yourself what you say is true.

This part gets me laughing every time it comes up. $75 for a date? I took my friend out to a midrange sushi joint the other night, it was $86 with tip for the two of us. I’m in grad school and I have kids, so I don’t do that sort of minor splurge very often, but when I had a job it wasn’t uncommon for me to go out twice a week and $35-40 is a pretty typical bill for one person for dinner, drinks, and tip at a neighborhood hangout kind of place. $200 is a typical “date night” budget for my fiance and I.
I am totally ready to believe that this guy is a character created by a brilliant online performance artist; the things he “brags” about are so very 
. It’s kind of like a kid’s idea of what would impress grown-ups, so much so that I’d think he was a kid if he hadn’t been here for 18 freaking years.
Kissing without consent is also sexual assault, just so we’re totally clear. He has admitted to conspiring to and then carrying out a premeditated sexual assault. The fact that he was underage is irrelevant; in most state sexual assault committed by minors is eligible to be tried in adult courts.
I know I’m going to regret asking this, but this is your mother the fabulously popular, successful and best-selling motivational speaker* and author, the globe-trotting sinew-stiffener and Wikipedia aficionado who so is wildly sought after in every country on the planet? And she had to cancel “the trip of a lifetime”? You really are quite terrible at this whole lying thing, Shagnasty, it’s why people keep tuning in.

I was just guessing at who you were the last time you were here. I need more clues and a vowel perhaps. The grammar, it’s so familiar.
Bipolar disorder can certainly coexist with personality disorders, and wild exaggeration/overestimation of exploits is common during manic phases, but you would also expect to see the inverse – often to a dangerous degree – during depressive episodes. During the downcycle after a manic episode, reality sets in (for the otherwise mentally healthy person with bipolar) and they will then not only recognize and be embarrassed by their behavior while manic, they also often experience profound remorse, regret, and self-castigation. It’s a terrible disease, two of my closest friends have it and it’s made it so much harder to be successful in their careers and romantic lives, despite being brilliant, kind, and creative.
I’m not saying he doesn’t have bipolar disorder, nor that he does have NPD. I’m just saying that his posting pattern here isn’t consistent with bipolar disorder, because there is no indication of cycling into depression. At the same time, it is consistent with NPD with a pathological lying component. /armchair

I’m a member of a few trade related websites, HVAC, electrical & a few posts at an engineering website when i was building a driveway gate, using my screen name here, but most of my posts at those websites are in the professional members areas that are off limits to the public.
i don’t use any social media, never even been on Facebook, MySpace or any other place you have to share so much personal info at.
