No problem Guin. We have been online acquaintances for a long time and I like you just fine. My real question is did you find anything that doesn’t match what I say here? As to starting threads about women, I am as mystified as anyone. I started one about women over 40 that was a legitimate question at the time but I can’t think of any more that I actually started. I don’t start many threads on anything in the first place. That is why the prohibition seemed so odd to me. Maybe our resident super-sleuths can shed some light on that as well.

It shouldn’t be impressive at all. Most of it is boring. I have a great job with a reputable company, go out on lots of dates because I know how to play the game and have wealth through pure luck. It isn’t a bad life at all but hardly remarkable. I am have blessed in lots of ways but not anything that notable.
However, your gymnastics comments are not accurate. Your comments in the linked thread list my daughter’s gym (I am not saying which one). She trains way more than 15 hours a week and has a Chinese former Olympic coach, a Russian coach and an American former vault champion. It is my daughter’s choice but she has mandatory practice 5 days a week and I can’t even get her until 8:30 pm on Friday nights and then she has to be right back at 9:00 am on Saturday morning until at least 1 pm and usually later if she has a private lesson. She has to do that during the week too. It screws up everything. I added in commuting time, tournaments and travelling schedules into some of it but it gets to be mortgage payment expensive and a time suckhole.
She already does international tournaments (meaning the U.S. and Canada) with European ones starting next year. We just got back from a huge one in Arizona a few weeks ago where she did well and her team did extremely well.
I am personal friends with some of the most famous gymnasts in the world. I asked Amanda Borden to send my daughter some words of encouragement and she did it a few days ago. The gym mothers were extremely jealous because they didn’t realize that I was hanging out with her while we were there. They didn’t believe I knew her either until I showed them our personal e-mails and she mentioned me when she was signing autographs. I am not that talented myself but I am extremely good at associating myself with gifted and influential people of all sorts.
