**CatMan **-- why not SoxFan?
(hey, if you object to the color Red associated with Sox, I guess you don’t absolutely have to use it; plain old Black works too… [d&r])
Li-Li – general {{{}}} and “it gets better. Eventually. Really it does” going your way.
**Swampy **-- I’d be all  at snowflakes here at any time. After I finished romping around in the snow like a little kid, that is!
**Taters **-- sorry the job fell through; fingers crossed for the second opening; I gather you like that one better anyway?
Re: poo-flinging monkeys – I don’t remember if I’ve shared this tidbit with the group:
Morning Mumpers. I survived the tornadoes, a few friends got some minor damage, but everyone is alright. I’m going to help some friends at their house.
I’ve got 2 big batches of brownies baked, and the last load is in the dryer. I emptied, then reloaded the dishwasher. Took Cozmo out for a while and threw a stick for him - I may take him and Scruffy out for a walk - it’s so nice out.
**FCD **came home and crashed in bed - he had a bad night last night and he doesn’t feel well. Poor baby.
Yep, I think it’s time to walk some dogs. Gonna change my shoes and find a light sweater, since it’s a tad breezy out there…
{{{doggio}}} That series of tornadoes hit my town (Clinton, MS) on Friday. Massive devastation. It missed my house by 1/4 mile, but we have a large piece of plywood in our backyard of unknown origin.
We went out for a salad and now we’re home. Critters have been fed. I think I’m going to assume the knit position. And I need to shower tonight so I’ve got extra time tomorrow to deal with Cozmo in the morning. We’re going to try leaving Scruffy downstairs with him. It’s going to be a nice day, so we can leave the door to the screened area open. We’ll see how that goes…
Meanwhile, off to knit. See you in the next MMP! MWAH!!
No, no no. Pilate has one of the best songs in the show! Tim Rice paints him as a sympathetic character.
eta - as you may have guessed, I’m home, and a little overtired. But the OP will be written in plenty of time.
Howdy Y’all! Been an interestin’ day. After bein’ Pontius Pilate and all, we et lunch then I took a nap. After that, I went to the horsepistol to visit two people and then to the sto’. I’ve messed around on farmville, had me a grilled cheese sammich with some N.O.T. chips (what? like any of y’all never eat like an eight year old!), and a nice soak in the jacuzzi tub whilst sippin’ on a glass of wine. So I am all relaxated.
doggio and Annie, Glad y’all survived any tornadoiness.
Glad to hear tornadoes spared both doggio and Annie.
SO!
We had a great Palm Sunday Mass. We always start things off on the lawn with two other churches and then process back in. The actual entrance hymn is really cool, non-traditional “Sing Hosanna to the Son of David” that is one of my favorites. I’ll be singing snatches of it until Thursday, when it will be replaced by Holy Thursday’s greatest hits.
Went to a really nice restaurant for brunch, then to the art museum, then to a park, then to the arboretum on campus, and then to Whole Foods. I also spent a couple of hours in the garden, cleaning up the beds on the side of my house.
I have some new tulips blooming (leftovers from last year’s Easter tulips - there’s no more room in the garden at church, so they came home with me). I also have grape hyacinth blooming all over the place. I plant it wherever I have other bulbs so that I can remember where the heck I have stuff. It looks really pretty both with daffodills and tulips.
Now I’ma knit for a while and then it’s off to bed and another week of work. I’m hoping to be able to take Friday and Monday since nephew will be here, too.
Might be back yet tonight, but in case I’m not…Happy Sunday, all.
I am really annoyed. I went to pick up my veggies Friday and the guy seemed surprised to see me. He explained he was trying to get out of running the whole thing because he can’t keep up with it all. He was being nice about it and showed me around his garden but what I really wanted to say was “would it have killed you to take your website down or disable ordering?” He gave me a number of someone else but I may just try to hit the Farmer’s Market next Saturday morning.
