I brought my laptop to work so I could work on some stuff, but I forgot the power cord, which means I have less than 2 hours of power. :smack:

Big Deal Corporate Inspection is tomorrow. Two hours of terror followed by making sure the carpet doesn’t roll up underneath me. That’s my part of it. The managers get a full eight hours of terror. That’s why they make the big buck$.
It is a beau-ti-ful day here in OK. Perfect 75 degs slight slight breeze and sunny with the occasional little white cloud passing over. Way to nice to be at work but until I am independently wealthy aka Powerball winner work I must.
I have gotten a lot done but I still need to do my expenses but I really can’t be bothered to tape a bunch of receipts to 8X11 sheets of paper then enter them into our super efficient (yeah right:rolleyes:) supposed to be easier to enter (also yeah right:rolleyes:) online system that takes forever to load and enter your expenses. Nope not happening today
Other than that not much going on. I have strawberries on my plant in the back yard and also the beginnings of tomatoes in the other pots! Whoohoo!
I have my first 'mater on the vine - it’s about the size of, um, a little tomato, and very green. Plus a number of blossoms, so maybe I’ll have a nice harvest from my 3 little plants.

Oh Lord, hubby is threatening to usurp the the TV remote tonight to watch Science Channel. I enjoy some of the shows, but really, I’m kind of sick of it.
I guess I should get some kind of dinner going. I’m too tired to put much effort into anything today, so it’ll be some Bertollini stuff, I think.
This has been one hell of a long week already, and it’s only Wednesday.
Did my good deed for the day, helped fix my neighbors car. I feel complete

shortdrum, would using something like the Khan Academy to study help at all? They have a lot of science videos and it seems like you should be able to learn at least some of the stuff using it.
Also, I have mixed feelings about watching animals perform, but having them walk through town was way cool!
Went plant shopping for the park today. That was fun! Bought lots of plants for me, too. And even planted containers and put a few in the ground after I got home.
Also got sad news that one of my park friends passed away this morning. She survived about a year and a half with panceatic cancer. 
Brother is having minor knee surgery in the a.m. Have to get up very early to play chauffeur.
Should probably get to sleep.

GT- I love Khan Academy!
I like Chemistry and I took it in high school and an intro course at community college. I think that I’ll have a much easier time next time, as long as my head doesn’t stage a coup again.
The award ceremony was nice, but a tad long. Who’s Who was given out first (I got a pen) and then PTK stoles and tassels were given out third so after that I just had to sit there and wait for it to be over. I didn’t get any surprise awards but I wasn’t expecting any. I was only at Quinsig for 1.5 years and I did most of my classes online because I couldn’t get to the campus often enough so I wasn’t able to participate as much as I’d have liked. So, no departmental awards (I think I had a higher GPA than the girl who got the Liberal Arts award but she was a much more involved student than I was and she totally deserved it - grades are definitely not everything).
Now I’m going to go pass out in my nice warm bed because I’m cold and tired and it’s been a long ass day.
Worked a double. Found a new favorite show on AT&T U-Verse: Drinking Made Easy.

Taters I did not go to bed at eight o’ clock last night. I said nitey nite because I was turnin’ off my smart thinkin’ box for the night. I laid upon the bed and watched some teevee. I made it until nine and then went to sleep. However, I have been known to be sound asleep by eight after a loooooooooong day.
