Single Thirtysomethings: Let's flirt!

what do I do for fun? swimming is always big for me when it is warm enough… (water above 70 degrees is usually warm enough!) Hanging with friends, having an adult beverage or two and some stimulating conversation… a couple of buddys and I play various instruments, so getting together and making music is a good time… road trippin’ when I can get someone to tag along…
I like bluegrass too… especially some of the newer stuff… heard any Nickle Creek?
Who’m I kiddin"? I don’t think there is a genre of music I can’t list at least one artist I like from… at least a song or two… music is a VERY important part of my life…
Grats, MissTake, on proper child-rearing. a strong foundation in the classics is necessary for a well-rounded young person…

Like peas in a pod are we…

Now how the heck are we supposed to notice what a catch you are if you’re sitting by yourself in the corner?

Can I bring you something to drink? What kind of music do you listen to?

where’d y’all go?

are newbies welcome?

everybody welcome… not too many flirters around, I guess…

Eva Luna,
You are the perfect flirt.

I know I suck at flirting, but damn. Didn’t get a single response. I guess nobodies interested in busty women with blonde hair and blue eyes, intelligence, and stamina. What am I into? Writing, anything outdoors, carnal pleasures, and action. There’s got to be someone out there in la la land looking for stimulating conversations, rousing bouts of show and tell, and who knows…maybe even

sooo… aphrodisiac… how YOU doin?

hmm … now this could be fun … any cheesecake left?

And I sure could use an adult beverage or two … it’s been a loooonnng day. Who wants to join me?

Thanks, Eva. I was trying for the silent type, in order to come across as intriguing.

I’d love something to drink. Non-alcoholic, though…I’m driving. What about some mineral water?

As far as music, I’m all over the map. In my CD player is Ben Folds, Cake, and Counting Crows. But I own everything from Allison Krause (BTW, to any AKUS fans out there - I was at the show they recorded their live CD. Palace Theater, Louisville, KY - fantastic show. I haven’t picked up the DVD yet to see if I’m in it) to Gwar.

I’m an up-and-coming stand-up comedian. 31 this coming February. Never married, no kids. Stuck in the Losuisville, KY area, and willing to relocate.

So…aphrodisiac…how you doin’?

sigh

I remember the good ole days when I used to excel at this sort of thing. Now I forget how.

Hey, relax. There’s nothing to be afraid of. I’m not into one stands. I’ve spent a lot of years working in 100 + degree heat, and I’ve learned that it’s not where you put the ice that cools you down, but how you use it, that cools you down, and I’m not about to reveal my secrets to the world.

And I’m afraid that due to hearing issues, I have trouble enjoying flamenco music, but I do have an album of guitar music that I think you’ll enjoy. Are you familiar with John Cale and Brian Eno’s Wrong Way Up album? It’s the kind of album you’d want playing softly in the background as you and an old friend sat outside, gazing up at the stars and catching up. Perfect for a night such as this. So relax, we’ve got all the time in the world.

My weekend wasn’t terribly exciting, I must admit, as I spent it getting ready for the new job that I started today, so why don’t you tell me about yours?

Um…is there any room for an opionated, ex-ballet dancer ex stripper erotica writer linguist? Also Irish. That might be more relevant. I can supply lots of Russian and French øàìïàíñêîå, some of which, er, I’ve sampled, just out of the goodness of my heart this evening. Just so, you know, it’s okay and all.

Okay, so cyrillic does not work here. Bummer, man. Am I the only one who likes Irish music here?

well boys, i’m doing just fine…now. it’s nice to see you can spot a nice peice of ** erm, a fine young woman when you see one. Now you tell me, how you doin’?

Hey, I’m sure someone here will find that interesting. Hell, if I knew for sure you were female, I’D hit on ya.

Female, definitely. Curly red hair and so on. I swear, curl density depends upon mood.

Ooh, and a redhead. I think I’m in love already.
