More and more, I’m thinking that Ted Cruz is an opportunistic asshole who doesn’t actually believe a word of what he’s saying but is simply manipulating the base for his own gain.

You can hate on him all you want (like I do) but he ain’t no idiot.
I’m not convinced. Yes, that article describes a very frightening reality about a large segment of our population, but Cruz strikes me as too slick and rehearsed; someone who knows what buttons to push. He says what his current audience wants to hear, or at least avoids saying what they don’t want to hear. (Not that this makes him any less dangerous. If anything, it may make him more dangerous.)

And those two gay tycoons are getting the just desserts of the shit sandwich they invited in…the boycott against their hospitality properties is on and growing. Not just potential guests…a lot of events are canceling or rebooking at other venues. These are the same guys whose bathtub an ODed club kid was found in the other week.
