WTF is a “Sooner”? Sooner than what? The End of Days? Alabama?
Hey, profiles in courage! Cotton is bravely defying the awesome power of Iran protected only by a few armored divisions and several thousand thermonuclear weapons! Wait, just a second, Iran might get an atomic bomb!
Imagine Irwin Rommel, pacing in his Afrika Corps tent, fretting that local tribesmen may develop a crossbow…
If you saw what he typed before auto-correct changed it to “peace”, it might make more sense.
It refers to the cheaters who got to Oklahoma and claimed land there before the government officially opened the territory for settling.
And then crushed his own throat?
Just like Water Scott tripped in the park, and fell on some bullets.
… as you do :dubious:.
Obama should hold a press conference and announce matter-of-factly that since Texas has decided that the US military is no longer welcome there, that he will be considering closing the 20+ military bases there and moving the personnel to other states where their presence, the local jobs, and and all that lovely government money is welcome. Fuck Texas.
So he then crushed his larynx? Or maybe crushed his larynx first and then broke his spine? Hannity should go ahead and try one first and then tell us how he felt about attempting the second.
We’re still waiting for Hannity to step up to his commitment to trying out waterboarding to prove it’s not torture. Strange how he never actually went through with that one, either.
Jeb proclaims that he’s a fan of ‘blacks are inherently genetically less intelligent’ author Charles Murray.
I bet his handlers are crying in their whiskey.
I thought Jeb was supposed to be the smart brother.
I find your ideas intriguing and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
No, that’s Marvin. Neil thought he was smart, but got caught.
Wasn’t Neil the one who had no idea that all those Asian ladies coming to his hotel room at night were being sent by someone?
Sooner than the official starting gun for the Oklahoma Land Rush, was the explanation I heard.
Perhaps some debunking/clarification will turn up.

Clarify, please?
IAN Kobal2 and can’t speak for him, but I think he was using the sarcastic expression “as you do” to express incredulity about the suggestion that Grey broke his own spine.
“As you do” in the deadpan sense of “oh yes, that’s what one typically does in such circumstances”. “Of course he did.” “Seems legit.” That sort of thing.
“I was waving the vibrator to try to lure the cat out from under the china cupboard, as you do, when I heard my phone ring.”
Ah. Thanks, that makes sense.
In the circumstances, had I written the post, I probably would have phrased it: “As one does,” but that’s just me.
**Kimstu **has it right.
ETA : ah, yes, that makes sense. English isn’t my first language, so :o.
