Instead Wikipedia shows that violent crime has fallen from a rate of 492 to 387 between 2007 and 2012, the lowest rate 1970. I didn’t waste much Googling to check 2013, 2014 but did see that the FBI claims “The first six months of 2014 saw a drop in violent crimes and property crimes.”
