How do you like me shofar?
A bit less than before.
I think treating guns like pools would be a good compromise. They’ll cost $20,000 and you’ll have to put them in a hole in your backyard.
…and fill them with water.
Put a cover on it, a fence around it, pay more insurance, and consider it more trouble than it’s worth.
…leaving you a sitting duck when Captain Farrell bursts in.
(Musha ring dum-a-do dum-a-da.)
I suppose we should be grateful the founding fathers didn’t include a clumsily worded amendment about well regulated swim teams.
ducks like pools
Yeah that amendment the gun nuts love so much sounds like the Founding Fathers were drunk when they wrote it. “In order to … what the fuck … because we need … well, SOMETHING about the militia … maybe “well-regulated” militia, that’ll sound good … we shall bare arms … no, BEAR ARMS … wait a minute … KEEP AND BEAR ARMS … that’s the ticket … now where’s that chauffer?”
Graham opposed Sandy aid but wants help in South Carolina
Most of the South Carolina Congressional delegation voted against Sandy aid. Now they want aid to help for damage caused by being brushed by the outskirts of a storm, not after suffering a direct hit as NJ and NY did from Sandy.
I hope the NY and NJ delegations are more understanding this time than the Louisiana and South Carolina delegations were in 2012.
I hope we tell SC to get stuffed. If they want to turn their back on everybody when they’re in need, screw them. You have to be a far right wing Republican who thinks the federal government is evil in order to get elected, then let them live without federal help just like they think the rest of us should.
That’s not what decent people do. Don’t put a grudge ahead of the real needs of real, desperate people.
Give them the aid they need, but it’s not out of line to also demand that Graham & Co. to admit they were wrong about Sandy aid.
I can buy that and I want to help those that need it, but dammit I’m getting sick of Republicans acting like federal aid is the root of all evil until they need it.
I agree, but every Democrat that votes for aid to SC should take some time at the mike to stick it Graham and every other asshole who voted against Sandy aid.
Shaming someone only works if there is a core of decency to refer to. And besides, its Obama’s fault anyway.
From the cited article:
31 Republican Senators who voted against Sandy Aid…and had availed themselves of disaster aid for their own states.
And of course Cruz voted against and wanted some of that sweet gubmint cash after flooding in Texas.
The storm in the New York Area was evidence of God’s justice. He was punishing big city liberals for sodomizing each other, watching foreign movies, and Benghazi. To clean up the evidence of God’s wrath was sacrilegious.
The raindrops that fell on South Carolina were the sweet tears of God’s Love. He was crying because atheists from the North are forcing Christian farmers to marry their farm animals and power tools.
Apples and oranges. No surprise you libtards don’t even perceive the difference.
“I would not just stand there and let him shoot me,” Carson said on “Fox and Friends” Tuesday morning. “I would say, ‘Hey guys, everybody attack him. He may shoot me, but he can’t get us all.’”
Not necessarily a bad idea and now the current thinking in an aircraft hijacking incident. It just sounds to me like like our other brave Repubs warmongering while they were actually chickenhawks.
Nothing breeds bravery like not being there in the first place.
