Stupid Republican idea of the day

He was calling to kill the members of radical Islam. Does that, in your opinion, include all Muslims?

Former governors. Specifically Sarah Palin, after she reloads.

It would be nice if he defined his terms.

I’ve got a pretty clear understanding of, “He literally called for a genocide against all Muslims”. That’s a statement that doesn’t call for much definition of terms.

A more germane question would be, does it in his?

Even so, his “come at me, bro” to the AG at the end indicates that he thinks calling for the deaths of violent terrorists will get him locked up by the Obama administration, so it’s still a pretty stupid statement.

He desperately wants to be a martyr, somehow. “Look at me, bravely standing up against the tyranny of the PC liberals” who couldn’t care less about what I say and will do nothing against me.

Bad governor! No 72 virgins for you!

This whole seventy two virgins thing is definitely more appealing as an eternal reward compared to standing around forever singing praise. Wondering if you can trade in the virgins for a just a couple that may be a bit slutty but smart and read a lot?

Cite? That’s right; we need the long form.

In fact, he was born in Chicago in 1987, the exact time Obama was working as a “community organizer” in Chicago.

Coincidence?

Yeah, probably.

Can we get the number of virgins prorated if we’re not fully committed to the cause? Eight or ten would do for me.

OK, buddy, here’s yer 72 virgins! This here’s Sister Mary Immaculate, this next one is…what? You gotta problem? You wanted 72 hot, horny young virgins? Go find 'em yourself, we already emptied out Baylor, TCU, and Liberty University…

There does seem to be an essential problem of supply and demand.

So, Catholic girls?

In a little white dress…

Steve Martin’s “Seven-Two Virgins”.

Have we done Jerry Falwell, Jr., lately? President of Liberty U urges all students to get CC permits and come to school so armed, so “we could end those Muslims before they walked in”.

Jerry Falwell Jr.: ‘If more good people had concealed-carry permits, then we could end those’ Islamist terrorists, Washington Post, Dec. 5, 2015.

(Falwell himself estimated that Liberty U has 15 to 20 Muslim students.)

Governor Terry McAuliffe (D) responds, calling his statement “rash and repugnant”.

(ETA: Did Falwell really say “…and killed them”, drowned out by cheers and applause? I didn’t see that mentioned in one other article I read. How certain would it be that he said that, if it was drowned out?)

That’s the “stupid idea” part, right?

Okay, I found similar articles at The Atlantic that includes the “…and killed them” bit, and one at Slate that doesn’t.
