I don’t know if I’d go as far as plagiarism, but I agree that Hamlet looks a lot like The Lion King with the serial numbers filed off.
And the fact that he worked all those cliches, popular sayings, and book/movie titles into his plays–what’s up with that? Didn’t the guy have one original thought?

Missouri House approves new abortion regulations which includes repealing (that’s right, repeals) a St. Louis ordinance that bans employers and landlords from discriminating against women who have had an abortion, use contraceptives or are pregnant.
And this is after Republicans stripped out some of the more divisive provisions of the bill. :eek:

As far as any kind of legislation regarding women who have had an abortion or use contraceptives, how the fuck is anyone but the women going to know that? Do they have some law that this information has to be given to employers or landlords?
And discrimination against pregnant women, well, I’m going out on a limb here and say they mean single pregnant women but didn’t want to say that out loud.

Not pro-life-- “pro-FETUS.” Once the baby is born, they could give a rat’s ass about medical care, parental leave, early childhood education, or **any **education, for that matter. Once that baby is born, it’s on its own. And God help it if its parents aren’t citizens. Or if it is and its parents aren’t.
I read somewhere on this board that Republicans believe life begins at conception and ends at birth.
Possible scenario, Women gets pregnant. Tells boyfriend that she is getting an abortion. The have a row about it, and in a fit of vindictiveness, he tips off her god bothering landlord who kicks the slattern out of her apartment.
