Death to the infidel.
Burn the heretic.
Deus vult.
No one expects the Spanish inquisition.
We will put you in the comfy chair.
One of the kids from Parkland said they should rename AR15s “Marco Rubio” because they’re so easily bought.
That’s genius, and I’m going to repeat it at my first opportunity.
The CPAC head of communications apparently said “We elected Mike Steele as chairman because he was a black guy, that was the wrong thing to do.”
Yep, communicatin’ like crazy.
Another one of the kids just tweeted “Hey FedEx why do you support the NRA?”
(They offer a 25% discount)
Not a good weekend to be in FedEx Public Relations…
Another great tweet
“The Republican Governor of Missouri was taken into custody after using the threat of revenge porn to cover up his affair and the state party is blaming a global Jewish conspiracy and it’s not even like, the top five weirdest thing happening right now.”
The AP had a story up earlier today about the NRA’s corporate partners. I started a thread about this after debating for some time whether to fold it into an existing discussion or not; I finally decided it might become a big enough topic for it’s own thread.
Lemme help you out here: http://thehill.com/homenews/news/375399-michael-steele-addresses-cpac-officials-painfully-stupid-comment-about-race
And Greitens himself is Jewish. So I guess the state Republicans think liberal Jews are going after Greitens for apostasy or something.
Michael Steele is shocked – shocked! – to learn that CPAC is a bunch of racist fucks. Once he absorbs that, maybe someone can tell him about the NRA (little known fact: NRA board member Ted Nugent is kind of racist). Eventually he may be ready for the truth about the Republican party.
The NRA has awarded Ajit Pai their “Charlton Heston Courage Under Fire Award”. The award is a Kentucky long rifle, which the NRA was not allowed to bring to the arena where CPAC is being held because of metal detectors.
Putting aside for the moment the fact that Pai is under investigation for alleged ethics violations by his own agency, what the fuck does the NRA care about FCC matters? What does net neutrality have to do with guns?
The party of family values.
If your family values revenge porn, you might be a Republican.
Breaking net neutrality might allow the NRA to buy throttling from the big ISPs so that sites carrying the anti-gun message do not get as good access to the public?
It would be really hysterical if Big Data decided they didn’t like the NRA and throttled the crap out of their webservers. Which they can totally do if they like with net neutrality dead.
That would be funny but unfortunately AT&T, Comcast, etc. are slimy in their own special way - profits above all else. Now granted AT&T wont be actively complicit in getting your children shot, but they have actually stated in the past that they feel they have the right to collect data on what they do online and sell it to whoever they please.
The first person’s browser history I’m buying and posting online will be Ajit Pai’s.
The NRA likes killing. It really, really, really likes killing. [del]It’s reason d’etre is killing.[/del] Whoops, sorry for using that anti-'merican lingo.
Pai killed the internet, so the NRA gave him a gun for him kill even more of those darned unpatriotic internets.
Liberal tears. :dubious:
