The Republican who is running against Ilhan Omar has a warrant out for her arrest. She was arrested for shoplifting thousands of dollars worth of stuff from a Target store, then didn’t show up for her court hearing. She claims that she has PTSD and gets anxiety around people, and doesn’t remember the shoplifting incident. Anxiety around people probably isn’t a very good condition to have if you’re planning on running for Congress.

That opening sentence should have been something like “Danielle Stella, who is running against Ilhan Omar, has a warrant out for her arrest.”
I kept trying to figure out how a private citizen was able to get a warrant for someone else’s arrest.
Better, but needs improving, because the pronoun “her” is closest to Oman and not to Stella, the actual antecedent.

I don’t see how the MLB can avoid firing this guy. If he does something asinine in the future there’s no way they can claim they didn’t know he was a loon. The guy is a huge liability.
Really? Unless you thought that the Ms Steele had somehow issued the warrant, I don’t see any real problem with it.
My guess is that most of them have no inkling that what they’re advocating could land them in living conditions such as those that Yugoslavians (and other civil-war sufferers) endured.

- It is not out of the ordinary for people able to issue warrants to run for office.
It’s confusing at first read, and though I had heard of the story of Rep. Omar’s crazy opponent previously, I didn’t recall it until I reread the post at least once.
Let’s face it: If Omar had an arrest warrant for anything you’d have heard about it from the 30,000 brietbart and Fox News articles
