Stupid Republican idea of the day

I can’t fucking believe it. Boehner is putting Ryan in charge of the budget process to reach consensus with the White House. Way to fuck things up, you asshole. It had a prayer of succeeding, and now you put this fucking ideologue in the mix? Cliff diving anybody?

What? It’s not like Ayn Rand was ever wrong. Except when she spoke about abortion, feminism, or religion.

I, sir, would pay good money to see this in 3D!

Wait, wait… OK, this is obviously superior.
Sorry Maus Magill.

The Dvl-unit wins this one.

You are not a nice person. If I get to Hell first, I’ll try to save you a spot.

Could be worse…

I AM a nice person. It says so on my card!
I spent a lot for the special printing.

In my opinion, (he said putting on his pundit hat), the GOP is going to continue to play to the lowest common denominator in politics until they feel it is a losing proposition. That means ‘doubling down’ on several of their proposals. There is some of the idea of sunk costs involved in this as well as sour grapes.

Interesting times, my colleagues.
Interesting times.

he is good at rounding off numbers.

And I’m sure he has no reason to have a grudge against Obama.

Sad to say that this would probably actually sell…and my wife would probably go watch it with her girlfriends.

So go rent Some Like it Hot for her. Same plot, except that instead of four outcast, awkward teenage girls in the rural south it has Lemmon and Curtis. Plus a Marilyn Monroe twist.

Anything with a Monroe twist gives me a Chubby Checker.

Last year, Republicans in Michigan cut the child tax credit.

Now they want to establish a tax credit for fetuses.

Clearly, Michigan Republicans believe life begins at conception, and ends at birth.

How would that work exactly? I mean, what’s to stop someone from claiming a tax credit every single year?

“Oh, proof of our pregnancy? Sorry, we don’t have health insurance. We never went to the doctor.”

“Proof of our miscarriage? That’s a private matter. I don’t wish to discuss that.”

An interesting conundrum for a Republican. It involves money, for which privacy is sacrosanct, and her womb, which is government property.

What to do, what to do…

Paul Ryan is a feminist?

Will a foetus count as three fifths of a person?

No, a whole person. The mother on the other hand…
