Stupid Republican idea of the day

OH! And I forgot Messiah, too! Thanks for the reminder.

What can you expect from a black, but not-black-enough, gay, atheist, Muslim, Christian Radical, Anti-Christ, Messiah, anti-American, Kenyan, Arab half-breed, Communist, Socialist, Marxist, Nazi, pawn of the UN, dictator pussy?

My father was complaining about Home Depot putting up aisle signs in Spanish, so I asked him how he felt about all the signs that were in English when he visited me when I lived in Mexico. Or the menus in English at the restaurants.

That shut him up completely.

Paraphrase of Chris Rock’s stint at a Republican convention in San Diego:

“If these guys were right, wouldn’t they be meeting in the City of Gus Johnson?”

If you’re dating a porn star, don’t let her take pictures of your junk. Or if you let her takes pictures of your junk, don’t ever, ever break up with her.

The Maryland state legislature has been illegal ever since they passed a gay marriage equality law, and courts and police don’t have to obey any of the laws passed since then.

Further in the story, he canceled all foreign language classes in Arizona schools and renamed french fries as FREEDOM fries in the lunch program.

Not necessarily the truth - don’t you be fact-checking me - and I shouldn’t be giving him ideas:o

I don’t see why he should have to quit over it,though. Seems rather extreme if you ask me.

GOP-controled media is making a big deal that Hillary Clinton, if she runs, will be the wealthiest Presidential candidate since John McCain and Mitt Romney the Job Creator™. (Nevermind that Romney “created” jobs by downsizing – that just shows you don’t understand the Alabama school of economics.)

But now they chastise Joe Biden for the opposite reason. He was proud to be the poorest member of Congress, has saved little during his Veepship and now intends to sponge off the taxpayers “forever.” The article didn’t mention any specific food-stamp fraud he’s prepared; I think “sponging off the taxpayer forever” just means that he plans to cash his undeserved pension checks.

So Hillary is a boogey-girl for earning too much, while Biden turns out to be just a lazy welfare-collecting pimp. I think you Democrats should get worked up over this.

(But don’t look to me for outrage. I’m embracing the Tea Party, and now support Bachmann-Beck for the White House in 2016. I intend to start a thread soon announcing my shift. It belongs in IMHO but I’ll post it in the Pit so all you Marxo-Fascist crypto-Zionists can denounce me.)

That’s like saying today is the first day since yesterday.

Oh come on, that’s BS. Everybody knows Diamond Joe don’t mooch off no government. He’s got a sweet scratch pipeline scoring primo copper.

Wow, that is awful reporting and a remarkably stupid post, even for a conservative.

Can you tell me how much ‘extra’ his poor financial planning will cost the government? By ‘extra’, I mean how more would it cost than if Biden had been a great financial planner, save and invested and made bank on that. How much ‘extra’ will it cost the taxpayers.

The answer is zero. Not one fucking dollar more. It’s his goddamnded pension. He deserves it exactly the same as John McCain, or Michelle Bachman or Lindsay Graham deserves it. He gets it no matter what other income he has coming in. No more, no less.

Republican district committee chairman warns Hillary Clinton to think twice before campaigning in Arkansas, suggesting she would “probably get shot at the state line.”

I was so confused by this at first. Why would Sandy Eggo be named for Gus Johnson?
Whatever Happened to Gus?

I guess that just sounds like a generic English name to Rock.

OT:

Covering one of Cream’s most classic hits is a possibly stupid idea, but I guess I’ll have to reserve judgement until I hear it. Covering Dylan, of course, almost always improves the tune…
How did you know these musicians were Republicans, though?

Ouch. Someone tell me something hypocritical about this guy - like he said pornography would be the downfall of America or something. I almost feel sorry for him.

OTOH, the link about the Maryland candidate who doesn’t recognize laws passed by the Maryland legislature, led me to this story about a sociopathic schemer I went to college with. Icky, but schadenfreudalicious.

GOP Lawmaker Pretty Sure That ‘Sexual Orientation’ Includes Incest, Bestiality, Pedophilia

*During the proceedings, state House Speaker Pro Tem Paul “Skip” Stam (R) distributed a handout to his colleagues that asked, “What Is Sexual Orientation?” and listed 30 categories, including heterosexuality, homosexuality and bisexuality, as well as coprophilia, exhibitionism, apotemnophilia and necrophilia.

“Sexual orientation is not defined anywhere. I have here 30 different types of sexual orientation,” Stam said on the House floor, adding that he thought it was necessary to specify and “exclude pedophilia, masochism, and sadism, which are sexual orientations.”*

I just can’t anymore with these people. I just can’t.

John Fucking Boehner has so much gall. He’s getting ready to sue the president of the United States of America (using our taxpayer money, of course!) for doing what all presidents do, and which Bush and Reagan did far, far more of: using Executive Orders.

Boehner Planning House Lawsuit Against Obama Executive Actions

*Speaker John A. Boehner, R-Ohio, told Republicans Tuesday he could have an announcement within days on whether the House will file a lawsuit against President Barack Obama, challenging the executive actions that have become the keystone of the administration.

The lawsuit could set up a significant test of constitutional checks and balances, with the legislative branch suing the executive branch for ignoring its mandates, and the judiciary branch deciding the outcome.*

Boehner To Sue Obama But It’s ‘Not About Impeachment’

*House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) on Wednesday confirmed he’s planning on filing a lawsuit to challenge the Obama administration’s executive actions.

“I am,” he told reporters.*

Executive Orders: Washington - Obama

George Bush 166
Barack Obama 168
Gerald R. Ford 169
George W. Bush 291
Jimmy Carter 320
Richard Nixon 346
William J. Clinton 364
Ronald Reagan 381

She appears to be a FORMER porn star, who has not worked in the business since 2007. Also, the story indicates that she is married (and he is single). Whether she was married at the time of their relationship is not stated explicitly, but it’s probably a pretty good bet.

So, even though he may have been a free agent (so to speak), participating in someone else breaking their marriage vows is probably egregious enough that no longer working for a member of the HoR is called for.

I hope I’m about to make a fool of myself, because I like thinking Boehner and his ilk are frothing unthinking haters who are completely off base once again.

But I don’t think it’s the number of executive orders that would be the backbone of this suit - the sheer *number *of executive orders only has currency among the most stupid of the right wing.

It’s that he’s issuing executive orders that are, in Boehner’s opinion (or at least he claims it’s his opinion), really close to legislation. It’s one thing for Obama to direct his employees, just as a CEO can. Or to change minimum wage for the executive branch. But if he directs federal employees to not enforce federal law, which he’s sworn to uphold, they may have something there.

If only he’d tell us the explicit actions he plans to sue over, we’d have a debate. However, we get this gem:
