Tonight’s was a good one(Remember the Titans).
Sam: “Who do we know like this guy? He dies a lot, fights pretty good, and has a history with violent women.”
Dean: “You?”
Also, Mischa Collins will be return as a season regular in season 9. Yes!

Nice one last night.
I keep waiting for an episode to be titled “The Walking Dead” or “Fifty Shades of… [?]”
And I wouldn’t mind seeing an anime Supernatural (regular episode) like they had on one of the previous seasons’ DVD sets.
I thought it was a little too easy for Sam to figure out the guy was a titan. It just seemed to come out of nowhere. Of course once they figured that part out going from that to Prometheus was a fairly simple jump, but how’d he get to titan in the first place?
Maybe he just watched the previews where they spoiled the whole thing anyway.
Now, his figuring out Artemis was in love with him, that actually seemed to flow logically from the episode, in contrast to just “oh hay i computered in the hotel room and you’re a titan”.
Just a minor quibble, overall good episode, especially the sheriff who’d clearly watched too many zombie movies.
Episode 17 “Goodbye Stranger”…“Shut up, Meg”
I love Crowley as a villain, but I think it would be best if he were killed off at the end of this season. And I frankly can’t stand Amanda Tapping as Naomi. She’s not a very good bad guy.
I liked her in Stargate, but not in much else. Her bad fake British accent almost made Sanctuary unwatchable.
This week’s was a nice stand-alone, though I did not remember the girl from last year. If I watch the two episodes back to back, it would be a lot better. Shame it was massively obvious that the leader of the kids was the villain.
Could Bobby return this week? Jim Beaver has insisted that no one from Supernatural has contacted him, but he might be playing it too coy on twitter to downplay it. He has lied before about his location and activities to cover up, so who knows?
I only remembered her, but only because they showed her in the previously on segment.
I still did not remember it.
I remembered the girl, mostly because she had this freaky combination or little girl stature, fashion model face, and husky bedroom voice that just seemed wrong to me somehow.
I’ve been waiting for Bobby all season. I went to the Supernatural panel at Comic-Con last summer. They brought up the question of why Jim Beaver was there at all if Bobby is dead. They just kept saying “anything can happen”. Kind of became a catch-phrase for the panel.
(sorry if anyone was hoping for a better spoiler)
I have zero real idea, but Jim Beaver did tweet:
“I have about six things I’m bursting to talk about but can’t because they aren’t set yet. It’s a very exciting time.”
I hope being Bobby is part of those plans.
Bobby! And…he’s gone.
I could complain about Bobby having a seat conveniently positioned near the exit, but . . . nahhh. Nice resolution to Benny’s story arc although I would have liked to have seen him kicking more vampire ass in purgatory.
Yeah, lucky that out of the billions of souls in Hell, Bobby’s only a few doors down from the rabbit hole into Purgatory. But it would be a pretty boring show if we had to watch Sam search hell for a few thousand years, so I’ll allow it.
Plus YAY BOBBY!
So… Kevin’s gone all insane in the membrane, huh? How’s Sam gonna learn about the last trial now???
Yay! A return to Crowley and Castiel (and Kevin) on tonight’s episode.
Maybe Sam should bolster his strength by drinking some demon blood, at least until the trials are over. Sure detox is a bitch, but he’s gonna be no use to anyone if he can barely even hit a target.
One of the best episodes in a while last night, imo. They also remembered that humans go blind when they see angels in their true form. But, questions:
-How did Crowley’s Sam & Dean demons withstand the holy water-gun squirting?
-With all the talk of the Prophet Kevin, have they ever said what became of the Prophet Chuck?
Sampiro, I couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve been a faithful viewer since episode 1. I’ve watched it through the good times and the bad. The past five years, with a few words here, a plotline there, they built up to an amazing storyline. The twists and turns were subtle, but deeply involving, and we as viewers knew Something Was Going On, without grasping it. Tonight, with a superb acting job by Curtis Armstrong (Booger), they tied it all together in about 10 minutes, and did it with sweet, sublime artistry.
I don’t know if it was on purpose, I don’t know if it was truly plotted out, but I do know that I thank them for such a wonderful story, and plot.
And my answers to your questions:
They’re in hell. They can’t get real holy water. Unless Kevin is suddenly a priest, there’s nobody to bless it.
At then end of Season 5, he vanished in some white light. Since the Mantle of Prophet passed to Kevin, its assumed he’s dead. Then again, there are varying degrees of “dead” in supernatural :).
Wait… Crowley really did have Kevin?
I thought that was just a hallucination when he took him, based on the windows shattering when he showed up, yet being whole later when S&D came looking for Kev.
