Surviver 10/2

In the first Survivor, didn’t Richard say he was going to be the million dollar winner? I just hope Burnett isn’t pulling a Richard Hatch on us and sneaking in Jon’s snarky comment about having a million dollars that Sandra won’t win.

Wait! Does that even make sense?

Jon said he had a million dollars that Sandra wouldn’t win. Richard predicted that back in Season 1. I just hope this wasn’t some little foreshadowing that Burnett allowed. If Jon actually wins …heck, or even makes it to the merge, I’d be completely shocked.

I won’t say I’ll eat my shoe or anything like that since I’ve been known to be wrong once or twice.

For those who still have some modicum of pity or sympathy left for the Mor-on tribe, I have a tidbit of news that should completely wash that away.

Over on TWoP’s Survivor forum, someone posted a link to an interview that Lillian gave, in which she says that Morgan has a speargun exactly the same as Drake, but nobody could bothered to learn how to use it!

I really really really really really really really want the last pre-merge Tribal Council to be Probst and Andrew, as Jeffy asks lawyerman what he thinks went wrong…

Can you post that link please? I just went to the TWoP forums and there are too many posts to wade through…

Thanks.

The interview itself is at Survivor Sucks, but the relevant portion is quoted below, with the spear section bolded. I found out about it at TWoP.

Thanks jayjay for this bit of information. How idiotic can these people be? Sheesh. An average 9 year old could figure out how to use a spear!

That’s it. No more sympathy for the underdog from me. I hope they lose every challenge from here on out, and I hope there is no tribal swapping before the merge.

How about this for the reward challenge? The Morgan tribe finally wins and as they raid the Drake camp, instead of taking an obvious material item, they take Rupert. Was there anything stated in the rules against taking manpower?

Although I do think it would be hilarious, I’m not entirely certain it would work. But…so many things could happen as a result that it would make things very interesting. Rupert could either feel proud of his strength and go all out for his new tribe giving them a new found strength or he could sabotage the Morgan’s challenges putting them even farther in the hole. But…if he sabotaged, the Morgan tribe could easily vote him off the next challenge. They could even warn him of that in advance. Now…that would make things interesting.
