Who will be the boot this evening? While I continue to hold my breath and anxiously await for the time when Amber, little worthless Amber, little coattail-riding, conniving, isn’t-worth-the-flesh-she’s-imprinted-on Amber, gets the kick, I’ve simply decided that they won’t ditch Evil…I mean, Boston Rob’s little henchwoman just yet.
Minor spoiler was just revealed by Jeff Probst this morning on the Mancow syndicated radio show.
According to Jeffy, episodes are normally 3 days long. Tonight’s episode spans only one day. The challenge tonight is for both Reward and Immunity, and the winning tribe gets to pick one member from the losing tribe. That member will obviously reap the reward of not having to attend Tribal Council with his former tribe.
Just gets more and more interesting, don’t it?
Boot speculation at this point leads to one of three people:
As much as I hate Jerri, she’s one of the names I picked out of the hat, so I have money on her, and I kinda want her to stay around.
And I am in total agreement about Amber. That girl needs a personality, stat. She reminds me of the ancillary cheerleader character in every 80’s movie, the one that just followed the Main Bitch around and said “Yeah!” every now and then.
I don’t know why they invited Amber back–she’s a non-person. Probably cuz she’s cute.
Here is my prediction for this evening: Sue comes back.
She calmed down, Burnett talked to her and told her a lawsuit against Richard wouldn’t win and to get back in the game. He did that to protect himself legally. We’ll see.
I actually meant “waste of flesh,” but she’s actually little better than a new tattoo – a painful addition that serves little purpose other than to look pretty.
You know, Chastain, just once, I wish you would really tell us how you feel about Amber.
My thoughts for tonight: ARRGGHH! I’m gonna miss it. Well, I’m going to tape it and watch it later. My daughter’s Choral Concert is tonight, and I’ll probably get home right about 9:00. And both CSI and Without A Trace are new, so I’ll be watching them and most likely not be watching Survivor till 11:00.
Damn music teacher. I oughta Pit him.
Yes, the TV ads say the Reward Challenge and the Immunity Challege are rolled into one Challenge. The blurb in the newspaper this morning says “A bombshell drops on the survivors after one team member misreads the TreeMail.”
Sounds interesting. Just pray that my VCR doesn’t die.
I have yet to make a prediction, or see the show as it’s broadcast. I am always at rehearsal on Thursday evenings. I like to just watch the show and see how it pans out.
I’m in a similar boat as BiblioCat. I’m taping the show, but I won’t be able to watch it until very late or possibly even tomorrow. I’m going to a Barenaked Ladies concert tonight and they’re great and put on a great show, but I know I’ll probably sneak in here after the concert to find out who got booted.
Legolamb will probably tease me for saying this, but I have to admit that knowing in advance what’s going to happen does spoil a little of the enjoyment of watching the show for me.
No teasing from me. I’m probably the biggest Survivor addict on the SDMB. I wish I had the willpower to stop reading the spoilers, because I admit I probably would enjoy it more completely blind, but I don’t. I suck.
Wonder if anybody here (besides, well me) has ever actually sent in a video and application to be on.
Oh, I’m a huge Survivor addict, too. I don’t always remember every player from past seasons (when you discuss them in detail), but I love watching each year. I do remember all the current players, but I occasionally have to stop and think, “Now was Lex from Africa or Australia?” (I get those two years confused)
I’m glad they put it on-screen when each person is in a confessional.
I was a HUGE spoiler addict for Marqueses and Thailand, but it’s more fun (in my opinion) to watch unspoiled. Even tonight, if I get home before 9:00, I won’t turn it on, or read this thread. I prefer to watch from start to finish.
I’ve never applied for Survivor, but I did apply to be on While You Were Out. I never heard back…
My next step is applying to be on In A Fix. I need to get my half-finished basement done.
No way. Even if she did come back, she’d be the first one booted the next time her tribe went to TC. No way.
I say Colby is out if his tribe loses the IC. The girls will unite with Lex and pick off him and Ethan. Colby will try to book Shi-Ann, but he’ll get duped.
In the other tribe… probably Jenna. She’s an outsider, and they probably want to keep Rupert around to fish.
So who did Colby & Ethan talk to to get a third vote with? They aren’t that bad at math, are they? Must have been edited out, but CBS shoulda showed that part.
I’ve never held a broken paddle before, but I’m guessing if you hold the small end and paddle with the big part thru the water, you’re probably going to accomplish a lot more than the other way around. Jerri & Shi Ann didn’t agree. Is this landlubber missing something?
