Anybody think there was an outside shot that the second Survivor couple was Natalie and Parv? 
Just get an HD TiVo. You not only won’t need a nanny or to change the baby’s bedtime, but you’ll be able to watch the hippos surf in HD over and over.
I went to the CBS website just so I could watch the surfing hippos again. Twice.

Hippos and monkeys and surfing … oh my! Suddenly, I am ever-so-grateful that we got the HD DVR when we had the money. Honestly, I have no idea how we lived without it for so damn long. We were practically uncivilized!
What!? XDCAM HD? I thought they were doing real HD, not 1440 4:1:1! I will not accept subsampled surfing HD hippos, dammit! 
According to Sony, it does 1080, 16:9.
Yeah, but its 1440 width, aspect expanded to 1920, so it’s not full horizontal resolution. And its 4:1:1 chroma subsampling. All of which is not really a problem, I’m just playfully bitching about what passes for “HD”. Personally, I think they should shoot everything on a Red (then downsample to “HD” res), for those true 12-bit hippos.
Well, jees, whaddaya expect for 30 grand?
