My hope is the final RI dual [sic] takes place simultaneously with an Immunity Challenge,

whoever last the longest of the RI is reintegrated into the game and if he (or she) beats Rob, Phillip, Natalie and Ashley will also get immunity.

if the RI player somehow gets to the Final Tribal, (s)he wins Survivor: Redemption Island.

Rob has a HII. In past seasons, it has expired by day 36. I think they start tonight on Day 37, so the HII may not be in play.

Nah, usually they say something about such and such tribal being the last time they can use it. So Rob should be guaranteed a final four.

I don’t watch survivor, but my Druidess does. She’d forgotten the finale was tonight, so I scored brownie points for reminding her…which I could not have done without this thread.

If the returnee from RI is either Matt or Mike, Rob can still lose unless he can win immunity and organize the vote to send the RI returnee to the jury.

If Phillip, Ashley and Natalie are smart enough to see how the end game can work (i doubt this) They should pull the RI returnee in and blindside Rob.

If Rob ends up with Natalie and Phillip as the final three he can win.

Rob needs immunity at the next two tribal councils. He can use his immunity idol at final five, but at final four he has to win it.

Probst always announces the last time the idol can be used. This time it has not been stated, so I think it can be used at the first TC tonight.

I’m actually hoping that Philip wins. He has an oral argument that he’s going to give at the final counsel that no has thought of.

Matt wins and everyone is ashamed that Redemption Island was even around.

If that happens, and they bring back RI for another season, I’m out. Too much time wasted watching RI elimination challenges instead of tribe politics. RI is a mistake.

You’ve got the poll wrong. Andrea is Jesus’s (ex) girlfriend. Ashley is the hanger on who makes the last minute strategic move so she can claim she’s been playing the game at the final tribal.

RI has really screwed up the odds on who can win. So here’s my order of who I think will win IF they make it to the final tribal, regardless of who else is with them.

I voted for Rob because I’d like him to win and he deserves it. The whole Redemption Island thing has screwed things up, tho, so I honestly don’t know what will happen. I wish RI would go away, but from listening to Probst, I’m sure there will be at least one more season of this failed experiment. I am looking forward to the show, tho.

I really, really want Rob to win this. I think he deserves it for getting his team to play his game AND for killing himself winning last week’s immunity challenge. That was such an impressive performance. He about killed himself.

I don’t watch this show regularly and I was never much of a Boston Rob fan when he played the Amazing Race, but I do believe that this one he deserves.
