Your terribly funny depiction aside, I don’t think this in itself is evidence of trolling. I think he really believes that a half page’s worth of time and effort is laudable. It’s evidence of an immensely slothful personality, as is his expectation to win friends by being seen sitting under a tree reading about the end of days. It’s too darkly pathetic to be a work of trollery.
