The Billion Dollar MMP

What kind of chairs? Beach chairs?

Now there’s an idea - murder travel agency. Where should you go to whack your SO/boss/neighbor/annoying mumper based on the color of the local prisoner attire. :o
Now I get to play that fun winter game (since it’s still dark/dusk when I’m leaving work): How cold was it on the last sunny day & which jacket are my sunglasses in?

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis a very foggy 50 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 67 and sun. Tonight and tomorrow we shall have rain yet again accordin’ to the weather PTB. No plans for the day here at da cave. Matter of fact OYKW is still abed and I haven’t been up very long myself. Maybe we’ll go out to N.O.L. Or not. It’s a willy-nilly kind of day!

OK, I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then I suppose I should purtify somewhat.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Happy Saturday!

The sun just came out - which reminds me that I need to clean the windows in the doors. I have to go find the recipe I saw for cleaning old glass windows. Windex doesn’t work too well on them.

Alien - that is a good idea. I’ve taken synthroid? in the past, I’ve always been borderline with my thyroid.

FCM and Doggio, I’ve always said the hair rises in inverse proportion to the IQ.

Nettie you’d think instead of being arrested, you’d get a public service award.

Sitting here waiting for the house to warm up (I turn the thermostat down a bit at night while I crawl under the comforter) in the same suit I was born in (different blanket). Slept off-and-on from 0500-0800, and woke up with a sinus headache I am trying to Aleve-ilate.

Will have to add clothing sometime this AM, as I have dry cleaning to drop off and a couple of loads of laundry to do.

{{{gotti and DH}}}

And that is about the level of activity I predict for today. Will arise and fix me some early lunch (sammich and soup) shortly.

Magic intartoobz pizza for N.O.L. I ordered and OYKW has gone to pick up. That way neither of us has to be presentably dressed for the public as it is more than OK to go to the place where magic intartoobz pizza appears in sweatpants and tshirt. It has the same dress code as :eek:Wally*World:eek:

sari, growing up in an old house and washing windows in the same and my grandparents’ farmhouses, we used straight white vinegar and newspaper. Something about the combo of the acid and the ink.

Hope you feel better soon, metal mouse.

I slept the sleep of the deadlast night with the help of Vick. I’ll be glad when the sinus crud is over.

I fixed a fajita omelet for brunch and it was a nice change of pace. The only things I have on my plate today are laundry, dishes and going to the office supply store for printer ink so that I can make a couple of birthday cards.

I’ve seen articles saying to use Easy Off over cleaner, or Bar Keeper’s Friend, or even the stuff you use in the dishwasher to keep the dishes from spotting.

I’ll try vinegar and see how it goes.

But first, I need some lunch.

Isn’t Bar Keeper’s Friend an abrasive powder? Doesn’t seem like a great bet on glass that you wish to keep transparent.

You would think so but I even saw suggestions for using Brillo Pads.

I think the one I saw, can’t find it again, used ammonia and rubbing alcohol?

I’ll try the vinegar first and then move on to stronger solutions.

Is that explosive? :dubious:

This + chronic migraines is why I have at least 10 pairs of sunglasses. Take that, light from the infernal day star!

Awake until 4am, then slept until 11.

Yesterday, my boss admitted that I am doing his job for him, and, in the same conversation, said he knew I’d been sick and working from home but I needed to be in the office every day. This after I completed fiscal planning for the next 12 months, from home, while sick. For his entire department, not just my team. I officially hate my job. Every day I’m there feels like it eats another piece of my soul. :frowning:

So I stayed up late, unable to sleep, and thought dark, bleak thoughts.

An early dindin of chikin nachos has been consumed. Since I had to make 'em and use the oven that counts as productivity. Also, I made some brownies we shall ingest with ice cream and fudge sauce later. The makeage of brownies was also productive. Thus I have not been a total sloth today.

sunny go into irk sick and hack, sneeze, cough and other disgustin’ things all over your boss while you ask him/her about every excruciatin’ detail of every thing you do. That’ll show 'em.

Sari vinegar and newspaper is what I use to clean windows and it’s always done the job. Smells a little ick whilst doin’ it but that soon goes away.

That’s ammonia and bleach.
Once I accidentally mixed them - WHOA!

Won’t do that again!

Some bosses are just assholes.

I wonder about Sah-son’s math professor. He turned in his homework, two days early, and she sent him an email saying that she noticed he finished, but not to forget the two quizzes - due Toosday!
He takes the ‘hand holding’ as she really, really cares about her students. I’d be pissed that she’s all up in my business like that. I’ve never seen a college professor behave this way.

Yum **Swampy ** I want some brownies too. I’ll drive to Georgia to get them - because driving 12 hours to Georgia is easier than baking my own

My windows have a haze to them, I didn’t get to it today but I’ll try the vinegar tomorrow.

Would you happen to remember the proportions? :dubious:

Just asking.

Nope, it was accidental.
I had mopped the basement floor with a ammonia and water solution. The floor still looked dingy so I poured on a little bleach, which was fine into it ran into a low area that hadn’t dried.

It doesn’t take much.

I was in Paradise this morning, no Intercourse, thou.

It rained last night, a whole lotta rain. I did a 5k trail run this morning. Traction was a real issue; it was slippy, sloppy, sploosh-in-the-puddle fun.
Dogs (on leashes) were allowed. One guy had this doglet thing; I’ve seen bigger guinea pigs (seriously, it came up to about my ankle) & that was the one dog not on a leash. I almost tripped over it.

I know it’s not a particularly good shot, but I saw an Amish El Camino on the way home.

No she doesn’t; therefore, please try various proportions & let us know the results.

I worked, I walked Gordie, I napped. Now I’m making tortilla crusted chilie chicken with safron rice and corn, black beans, and roasted poblano. Green Bay is playing in a bit.

No, that’s ammonium nitrate and diesel fuel. Not that I know anything about that.

Of course not!

Would you happen to know the correct proportion for ammonia and bleach?

Dinner was not successful. I brought “Bourbon and Black Pepper Short Pork Ribs”, and Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) “Mungo Peas in Coconut Milk”. Neither was very tasty.

“Mungo Peas” sounds like a minor warlord the British would be after in the late eighteenth century.

“Colonel Drinkwater, Mungo Peas has been stirring up the inhabitants of Ratsnestistan with some bloody tripe of some sort or other, and disturbing His Majesty’s Business in the area. You will therefore take a flying column to Ratsnestistan, and bring him back to be blown from a gun. Should you be forced to kill him, so that His Majesty may not Make an Example of him, I am afraid things will not go well at your club. See the Quartermaster for the appropriate supplies and armaments. That will be all. Do get this thing taken care of, Old Chap, these things are so very messy and depressing to the natives, don’t you know.”

Those short ribs fairly reeked of cumin, I did think she would like them. :dubious:
