LiLi the pic of brownie covered TomCat is waaaaaay over the top keeeee-yooooooote! The purple N.O.T. well, let’s just say look disturbin’. Gnat’s really grown, wow!
Yeah. He now produces cogent arguments for him having more cookies. And if he’s offered the choice of dessert plus insulin, or no syringes and no dessert, he immediately starts rolling up his sleeve and saying, “More carbohydrates!”
It’s weird and scary.
Thank. TomKitten wields his cuteness as a weapon. He’s very dangerous.
Wow, LiLi, those are some purple potatoes. Where did you get them? I’m thinking of all the ways I can surprise people with them.
My Firday is actually on a Firday this week. I’m not looking forward to the six day week I’ve got scheduled next week, though.
Serious question: is there any kind of job where you get to research all day and not be a professor? I’m enjoying working on my data collection for my sister’s thesis way too much.
LiLi, what beautiful babies you have!! I love the color of those N.O.T (used properly?) but I don’t think I would be able to eat them. I never was able to bring myself to try the different colored ketchup when that was all the rage.
Thanks for eplaining the N.O.T. for me guys.
After getting over a foot of snow here and -25 temps, we are now looking forward to being close to the 50’s next week!!! It will finally be warm enough to go sledding and do some ice skating this weekend.
I keep trying to get my heathens to build me a snowman in the front yard but they aren’t going for it. I love all kinds of snow activities but my body just isn’t up for it. Even though I can’t actually sled with them I pile the heathens and their friends in my van (known as the bus) and sit and watch them, take pictures and read while they sled and then they have a nice warm van to get into.
Yes, Kricket, you used it correctly. Gold star for you: *****
Glad my work day and week is over. We went out for dinner and now we’re home to veg. Tomorrow, we’ll shop for a new corner unit for the TV to sit upon. And maybe a speaker bar. Plus I need kitty litter…
Sorry I have nothing more exciting to share. I’s tahred. Wonder how late I’ll be able to sleep in tomorrow?
Those pictures are just too adorable, Li*Li. I still have the original Child’s Garden of Verses that I had as a kid. The Shadow* was always one of my favorites, too. The potatoes look like something from outer space.
I returned San Antonio yesterday, and dragged my sorry self into work this morning. I have work I need to get done over the weekend too, so I have my work laptop.
Next week, Business Planning starts in earnest and I’ve been informed I can’t work my alternate work schedule. Basically, I’m getting one day off a week, working long days and coming in on Sundays. I have to do this for a month at least. Not happy, but I’ve got to suck it up and do it.
I kind of skimmed. Happy belated to **Doggio **and congrats to Bumba!
I’m supposed to go over to a friend’s house tonight. I don’t feel like it, but we’ve already committed, so I’m going.
I worked all day after partying half the night. It was an epic birthday party. Of course, feeding the birthday boy free beer and tequila, then handing him a baseball bat to smash the pinata is probably not the best idea.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ on a cold Sattidy mornin’.
Sounds like a fun bday doggio!
Welcome Home Taters! Ick on the work schedule but you’ll survive. Feel free to use BooFae’s pointy stick as needed. I’m sure she won’t mind.
I took some chikin tenders, laigs and livers out of da freezer. Fried chikin, collards, field peas, rice, gravy and bizkits for dindin. The collards are some already cooked ones I froze so I just need to thaw and heat ‘em up. I decided last night I wanted to do this. Dindin tonight and lunch tomorrow it shall be. Maybe I’ll make a peach cobbler. Or not. We shall see. Fryin’ chikin takes a lot out of me.
I need more caffiene and brekkie for rumbly tummy.
Good morning all! Up and caffeinating, and now able to post after having a small problem with the keyboard (the plug was a-loose from keyboard to CPU!)
The surgery center called last night (yeah, at 7:45 pm!) to schedule the cataract surgery for my other eye–it’s going to be on Feb. 28th, so in just over two weeks I should very hopefully have great vision in both eyes, ye-haw! Lots of appts. between then and now and of course a careful watch on my sugar levels and BP level too.
I got a cold that just started so I’ma take it easy over this weekend. Hope everyone has a relaxing time at least.
Get better Herbs! Gotta be ready for super vision after all!
Peas and greens are done. They’ll be reheated just prior to chowin’ down. I’m all set up to fry chikin when it’s time. Go Me! I actually made brekkie. Bacon, scrambled cheesey aigs, grits and toast so we should be good to go food consumption wise for a while. I plan on us havin’ an earlyish dindin around four p.m. just cause.
