I blame the commies.
Hi, Honeys, I’m HOOOOME!!!
<happy dance> We left Ocala about 4:15 of the AM, and got to FairyChatEstates minutes after 6 of the PM. **FCD **is already in his jammie pants. Taz has been running around; I assume he’s celebrating. And my sweetie and I are thrilled that we can sleep in our big bed, sans Higgs!
Lots of chores tomorrow, chillage tonight.
Happy Thursday!!!
Ignore the Philthydelphian ----- its the high-point of my existence these days! ![]()
I was hoping more for:
especially the Mother and Ernie bitsMid-daughter and boys are flying to Fla. to go to Disney. Her husband goes home with the Chihuahuas and back to work. Son-of-a-wrek and his bunch are home playing with the new toys. The lil’wrekker and boyfriend are going out with friends tonight.
Mr.Wrekker plays poker til late.
I’m resting.
Leftovers for supper. Each man for himself.
We also having leftovers. Well hubby did. I wasn’t hungry. He said the ham is better today than yesterday.
So I had a clerk that retired in July. She and her hubby and me and mine occasionally go to concerts. Willie Nelson is coming to town on Feb 17. Now this clerk has a ton of money they inherited from their parents. I asked her if they wanted to go about a month ago and told her to get us some tickets and I would pay her back. I knew the tickets were either 69$ or 99$. The next day she texted me and said I owed her $596. I almost died. I had no choice but to pay her. I never said anything to hubs until tonight. I told him to guess how much they were and he correctly guessed $300 each. Anywho, I shan’t have her buy any more tickets for me. Hubs said we never go out or do much of anything but irk so he’s going to pay me back.
The last concert we tried to go to was Leon Russell who died before the event. We bought tickets to a Zydeco band since she hails from Louisiana and the headline died and it was cancelled. I do not want to kill Willie. Hang in there Willie.
Going to bed super early since it was probably past 3 AM last night before I went to sleep. All day on 3-4 hours sleep is rough.
Yeah butters, please don’t kill Willie.

especially the Mother and Ernie bits [/QUOTE]That’s sick twisted, and I love it!![]()
If your Willie died, We can fix that;)*
- a major TV sponsor of Hurricanes hockey broadcasts.
Damn!
Nelson just got jumped by the lab mix in the next building. She’s not evil, but pretty unsupervised and uncontrolled. We were out for bedtime constitutional and she came flying off the patio at him. I thought I was going to have to clock her with the flashlight to get her away.
She’s a sad case. Her human is a road musician who has a revolving door of roommates to look after her (in 560 square feet, no le!). From what I gather from talking to some of them, he selects them from local AA or NA groups. Some do try to keep her disciplined, but others are just using the place for a landing space.
Tonight, the roommate de jour didn’t even know she was outside until the fracas broke out. He wasn’t hurt, but both of us were shaken. Extra treats for my little guy.

Morning. I slept hard until 4 am. I guess I should get up and ready myself for a very busy Firday. The highway into the Keys was a parking lot yesterday so I know we will be swamped. But tis Firday thank goodness!!!11!! Seems like it’s been a very long week.
Happy weekend everyone.
Glad **Nelson ** is OK.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 58 Amurrkin out and cloudy (well, dark) with a predicted high of 72 and maybe N.O.S. this afternoon. Apparently Spring beat up Winter and has taken over. :dubious: No big plans for the day for either of us. We might or might not go do the late N.O.L./early sup at the [del]hog trough[/del] Golden Corral. A trip to the Pubic Sto’ might happen today or tomorrow. We are in need of some everyday provisions plus stuff is needed for the big New Year’s Feast. We shall see.
MOOOOOOM glad y’all made it back safe and sound!
FlyBoy ya done good!
Ruble and doggio that is absolutely sick and twisted. My kind of show!
Red  Glad Nelson (and you) are OK. Give him extra skritches from his Unca Swampy.
Butters dang that’s a lot of money! However I think it will be worth it to see Willie.
MetalMouse have a safe trip home!
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day. Rah.
Happy Firday Y’all!
Happy Firday!
I guess the board had a bit too much Christmas Cheer?
The hamsters were hungover?
It’s a not so bad 39 degrees outside. Getting ready for the park.
We almost didn’t go yesterday… and Echo is dangerously close to being sent back to her biological mom.
Not really, even she laughs when I tell her that.
I don’t know why, but I thought Willie was already dead.
Glad Nelson is okay.
Between my good buddy Mel and my own bed, I had a pretty good sleep. I did wake a couple of times, but not for long, and I finally dragged my carcass out about 7:30. Critters have been tended to and I’ve even breakfasted. Caffeination is ongoing.
It’s a foggy morning in southern Merrylande and we’re promised an unseasonably warm day, so huzzah! I brought home a sack of Roxy’s dirty diapers and they’ll be part of my laundry rotation today. I’ve also got to run to the grocery store at some point to restock the pantry and fridge. And I definitely need to run the vacuum - I don’t know how Daughter, etc, managed to get so many leaf bits all over the carpet!
Cats are glad we’re home, as is Higgs. **FCD **is still abed. Daughter, etc, won’t get back till tomorrow, giving us a day of peace.
Happy Firday, all!!!
There’s a load in the dryer and a load in the washer. Diapers are soaking in a tub of hot water and OxyClean - should be RoxyClean, right?
Vacuuming is done, including moving the love seat and cleaning Ziva’s hair out of the carpet behind it - I had to pull it out by hand!! Cat box cleaned, Daughter’s cats fed (boy, did they yell at me!!!) and I just finished cleaning the kitchen floor, including under and behind the fridge and under the stove. FCD’s car is now unloaded from the trip - I need to haul Roxy’s stuff to her room.
That’s a lot of work for 3 hours, and I’m sweating. Ho ho ho…
How today has been going so far for me:
I have to wait around for a Purolator package, so I can’t go to the store even though I’m almost out of food. Food delivery is not an option.
And (spoilered for TMI)
I coughed up phlegm with blood in it. Probably not much to worry about, but just the latest in my ongoing phlegm problem, which doctors say isn’t anything to worry about. Bah.
Hope your day is going better.
Yesterday, Mrs. L.A. wanted to get out of the house. (Yay!) We drove through Blaine, turned around, and then stopped into Drayton Harbor Oyster Company. We split an oyster po’boy, and we each had a couple of local brews.
The buildings on that side of the street are built onto a hill. You can see the drop-off here, probably about 30 feet. There is a railing built so that people won’t plummet. In that image, you can see some cars parked; a red one, a silver one, and a white one. We were parked where the white one is. When we got into the car, a hawk landed on the railing in front of us. We marvelled at this pretty bird, and I reached for my phone. I started the camera app, and… the hawk took off and landed on the railing farther down, by that old foundation. It came back and landed in a tree on the slope in front of our parking space (not the tree on the sidewalk). We didn’t get a picture, but we liked seeing the hawk in such close proximity. That’s the closest I’ve been to a hawk… except for about a decade ago when one smashed my windshield on the freeway.
FWIW, the building Drayton Harbor Oyster Company is in, was originally built in 1892. (ETA: Or maybe it’s the building next to it, where Tony’s Just A Bite is.)
.
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. I got a 502 error, so apparently the hamsters found some more expired eggnog. Hockey starts again tonight.![]()
Especially if the seats are in the downwind section.:D;)![]()
Glad Nelson is OK, Red
You have to love the intertoobs. I decided to replace my 3-year-old OEM Mazda wiper blades for some new Bosch Icon blades. I got the front ones off, but could not for the life of me figure out how to get the new ones back on. Turns out I was overthinking it (or maybe underthinking it) and an online video cleared it right up. Simple! I remember the old style wiper blades, where you needed an engineering degree, a sledge hammer and a jug of Crisco to get the damn things off and on. Same for the rear blade, which was even easier. Once again, YouTube saves some busted knuckles, torn fingers and damage to what you’re working on.
Since you didn’t ask --------- our protest (you can just spot me in the very beginning)
I had to keep my head down a little since I was “at work” (not Da Jungle back then) at the time. And some of the commercials they did themselves like
Lawn darts; I have about 50 of the old now-illegal kind.
For nostalgia.
Not for shooting from my 2-pounders.
Yeah – nostalgia.
