The big plan of the day is mowage. I foresee this as a mornin’ task. It must be done. As I said yestiddy, we shall sup upon tacos 'n fixin’s. OLÈ!

Outer bands of Florence wound up on my windshield on the way in this morning. On the news this morning, they were reporting people in New Bern, NC, calling for help. Um, that’s why you were told to evacuate, idiots! Sheesh… :smack:
Literally nothing to do this morning. I suppose I can dust my desk, but apart from that. We shall see.

Well, some of the plumbing fixtures didn’t fit, so they’ll be back this afternoon. No idea what else is in store for today (outside of the remodeler getting his weekly check), but we’re getting to the end stages of the Great remodel. I’ll have to post pictures in Facebook.
Otherwise, except for soccer practice with the boy’s team, it should be a quite day…

It’s dark and gloomy outside, 72 degrees, but no rain yet.
Well, okay, the sun just came out. I opened the blinds for the first time this week. As dark as it has been every day there wasn’t much sense in opening them since I would have to turn on the lights anyway.
Not much going on today. My son has three papers due Sunday, so lots of proof reading for me. No grading rubrics for any of them, and only one has a word count. He should have sent emails asking what is required, but he didn’t.
Yesterday’s music lesson was the Beatles, rah. I think I am one of the few who doesn’t like the Beatles.
I’ve been here almost 2 hours, and so far, I’ve, um, cleaned my desk. It was dusty!! I’m about to shred a bunch of paper, just because. OK, not just random papers - they’re things that no one has asked about for ages, so I have to assume they’re over and done.
Boring Firday…

Feeling better today. 
I think my main problem was that I was somewhat needlessly worried about a friend of mine. But it looks like things are all right.
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Work is closed today, so I am home. But I have a conference call at 11:00.

I’ll have to post pictures of Romeo Jr.'s room once the bed project is done. I also have a dresser that’s painted red with lights above it to look like the containment unit, and some really cool other Ghostbusters stuff around his room, like a framed Ghostbusters album, some art work, and some vintage toys. I even made curtains out of vintage Ghostbusters cartoon bed sheets.
Tonight, Romeo is taking the kids over to his parents’ house so I can get cutting without small people at my feet. Toddler + circular saw … not a good idea. I’m going to for sure get the MDF cut to size, then start working cutting the brick paneling to size. Tomorrow will be painting the MDF because tomorrow will be nice weather.

I finally got a little work to do. So I have a clean desk, I’ve shredded a bunch of old stuff, and now I can be productive again. 
blurf I slept much better and probably was asleep by midnight which is an improvement. I almost feel human today. Just to get through today and half day tomorrow. I is tahred and need a day or three off.
I have not heard from my clerk that is out but I hope she is back on Moanday. I have other stuff to do besides being a clerk.
