The going to work early MMP

Petites usually leave me with at least 6-8 inches of jeans after I run out of leg. I once found a pair that were the perfect length and I loved them–even after I realized that they were supposed to be capris on anybody else. Sadly, they were from Steve & Barry’s, and I bought them right before the store disappeared.

Blurf. BLUURRRRFFFFFFF.

TWO…
MORE…

DAYS…

ON THIS DAMN BOAT!!!

Howdy Y’all! N.O.L. is et. Irk is well, irky. Welcome newbies. If you have not been assigned a nickname you will be assigned one shortly.

Carry On.

Are there any pictures to sort through? Are they labeled? If the answer to the first is no, congratulations. Take pictures of anything that you feel guilty about giving away or selling and then, as** anyrose **said, yard sale. Donate non-sales to a thrift store. Or give them to other relatives as presents.

If the answer to the first question is yes and to the second is no, you have my sympathy.

No blurf today. Deadlines. Made two already this morning. Deadlines are energizing.

Good news: I saw a baby chipping sparrow.

Bad news: I saw my mother! :frowning:

Good news: I don’t think my mother saw me.

Hubby left for flight test yesterday morning for 2 weeks. :frowning: He’s going somewhere hot and dry to stand around and wait for the plane to not fall out of the sky. He can’t tell me where he is or what the tests are. He can call once a day on their hard line.
The up side is he’s making a TON of overtime for being there. They pay for food and lodging, so we save money anyway. (even though he’s on a diet, he eats alot!)

I already miss him and my phone was out this morning. We have voice over IP, so I just had to reset the modem, but his one call was while the phones were out. :smack:

I don’t think I came in here when I was sick. Well, I’m still sick, but mending well. I have pericarditis with pleural effusions. It’s a viral infection, and should go away in 2 or 3 months.
I’m doing better than the docs expected. I was in ICU for three days. I was on oxygen at home at night for a week. The doc thought at least a month, but I’m breathing normally already.
The only issue is salt. I can’t tolerate a drop of it. We went out to dinner and I said my chicken tasted salty. Hubby tasted it said no, it was fine. The next morning my weight was up 4 lbs!. No more chips for nursey.

You sold Mom!?

Today is irritating.

I won’t bore y’all with the details.

10 more days until the HFH leaves for where ever.
I’m afraid to say it for fear of jinxing it, 18 more days to settlement.

Dogs have been let out, fed, medicated, cat has been feed, litter has been scooped.

I agree, it is Watermelon Monitor because that is how I read it too. I think she is the one who knows which watermelon has the vodka in it. A very important piece of information.

I don’t drink but I swear I need one.

My ear is clearing up again, finally, and I hope for good this time.

I need to clean up to go to the store and I’ve just been pissing and farting around since I got home. Just me and Sah-son, and the dog, who is miffed because he is out of treats.

picu, glad you’re feeling better! That sounds terrible. Especially the no-chips part.

So, I hurt my back last week and it was getting steadily better, and now it’s killing me again. But instead of the muscley place where it hurt last week, it’s starting to feel like that time I cracked my tailbone seven or eight years ago. I don’t think sitting in my chair all day at work is helping at all, either. But I’ll go to PT today so I can get my first appointment over with, and if it’s still bad tomorrow, I’ll suck it up and go get it checked out, because ouchie.

Can I sell my mom? Please?
I don’t think anyone would want to buy her though.

Knitting and Netflixing because it’s dreary and drizzley and I don’t feel like doing anything. **FCD **stopped for lunch in Cumberland, MD. I expect he’ll go farther than Wheeling today - we’ll see where he calls from at his next stop.

And back to the couch with me!!!

Two unusual emails today regarding books I’ve bought online.

The first was from Amazon and it gave me a tracking number for my order. I punched it in and saw my order had traveled from Memphis, Tennessee to Atlanta, Georgia and then back to Memphis, Tennessee. I think it’s just cruising around the country on my dime.

The second was from Barnes & Noble. I bought a book from them and they sent me the wrong book. I contacted them and returned the wrong book (they covered the cost) and they sent me the correct one. Today I got an email telling me they had given me a refund. But I’m an honest person so I contacted them again and explained they didn’t owe me a refund.

Wasn’t it Pam Oliver who was almost tackled during the HOF game? I’m starting to wonder if somebody’s put a bounty on her.

I, too.

Actually, I like what they call me over in the DeathPool thread.

DEATHMISTRESS

That makes too much sense, oh Cute One.
IS Dvmstr how one spells dive master in Hebrew?

DeathMistress it is then. That’s right we decided that last week you could have no other nickname but that one.

Howdy from da cave! Leavin’ shortly to head over to the church house for men’s night. Good times await.

picu yikes! Glad you’re on the mend. No more chips sounds awful. I’d be sad. Then again, if it meant stayin’ alive I reckon I could deal.

Y’all sure are a bunch of Chatty Cathys today. My sis had one of those. Creeped me out then and creeps me out now.

Ok, gotta get a move on.

Laterz!

It is usually easy to tell.

Afternoon all!

I have tried to keep up and it just hasn’t happened in a few weeks. I do hope everyone is fine and dandy!

Weekend was a weekend for not doing chores which was nice. But now I need to clean our bathroom tonight.

Dinner is sliced left over ribeye from when we grilled over the weekend over a nice green salad.

Oh I saw watermelon monitor in that sentence as well and I was very confused

I just made some cookies, but I’m not sure if they turned out. :frowning:

I guess I’ll have to eat a few and see.
