Home from another 12 hour day. We are going to catch up but partly because TPTB are cutting some of our volume.

After a depression-related hiatus from the boards, I finally have a good excuse to jump back in to the MMP. Kittens!
Currently raising the third litter of dumped kitties this year - boo! - but this batch has gone from feral 5 weeks ago to asleep on my feet right now. (And my husband - who allegedly doesn’t like cats - has fallen in love with the little gray kitty. There may be lots of antihistamines in our future, but I think we have been adopted.)
Meanwhile, the kids are doing well, and hubby’s disability claim was finally approved last week. (Six years, 3 appeals, the usual.) Hoping that processing happens before Christmas, but it’s nice to know that we can catch up bills soon!
What is “snow”? 
7:15pm in Hawaii. 79 degrees. We have the door and windows open, fans going. Very pleasant outside. A tad too warmish in the daytime, but still nice. We have no air-con or heating, but I admit I do miss air-con sometimes. Couldn’t live in Bangkok without it.

Have I mentioned that the cleaning job (though pretty tedious in itself) is actually for really nice people? They phoned me up yesterday, to ask if I wanted to take Saturday off- turns out I still have one day’s paid leave for the year, which ends end of December, so they didn’t want me to accidentally lose it… Most places I’ve worked would have just kept quiet and hoped I didn’t realise.
Anyway, I need to away to skool.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 47 Amurrkin out and cloudy (dark) with a predicted high of 73 for the day and partly cloudy whatever that means. Rain moves in tonight and tomorrow is supposed to be ick with rain/tstorms/apocalypse all day. Today I shall head over to the church house to do candle duty. Could do that tomorrow but since ICK is predicted then I shall this mornin’. Besides nobody else should be there this mornin’ so I can do my thang and get out of there fairly quick. Boxed lasagna (don’t judge!), sallit, and cheesey garlic bread shall be supped upon.
Butters I found a cool brushed nickel bathroom LED light fixture at Lowe’s. I attempted to find a pic of it but no luck. Anywho I like it because it provides good lighting but not so blindin’ bright as what was in there.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas, I must purtify and don goin’ about the public attire. Life is so hard sometimes!

Not as cold this morning, it’s above freezing and it didn’t feel so bad when I opened the door to let the dog out and the cat in.
The cat was nice this morning after being a butthole to me for the last few days. He has been totally ignoring me and bugging my son for attention.
Lots to do over the next few days, but nothing so important that it has to be done.
I think the CLR may have done the trick with the dishwasher.

Anyone from Georgia (or anywhere for that matter) wearing a sheet makes my “other” bloodline nervous. 
We’re having a warm spell and rain. Like we haven’t had enough rain this year. We are officially an exceptionally wet year with several of the months setting new records for the last 125 years.
In about 24 hours I will be donning the appropriate apparel for Santarchy and the Opening Beverage will be at roughly noon. If I post tomorrow night please remind me of that fact next week as I will totally have forgotten. Doing an extra single Sunday night at irk giving me 13 hours to detox. The number of hours involved could be a sign. Will have to include a sacrifice of a chicken Saturday just to be safe.
Tomorrow, Romeo and I are going to the big city of Milwaukee for a day trip. We’re going to tour Great Lakes Distillery to see where they make absinthe. (Romeo’s a big fan of absinthe.) We’ll also visit the Pabst Mansion, which is a beautiful old estate, all decorated up for the holidays. We’re also going to do some Christmas shopping and have dinner with an old friend of Romeo’s family. Aside from the rain (and the possibility of driving home in freezing rain), it’ll be a nice day away.
This morning the AirBNB guest left. I managed to catch him before he left, and I apologized for the argument between me and my roommate. He said it was okay. That’s good, I guess, that it doesn’t seem to have bothered him much, though it must’ve been awkward. He seems nice. Too bad I didn’t get to talk to him a bit more.
I had a glass of absinthe once. It was very good.
Howdy all. Completely missed yesterday, my books came in the mail so when I wasn’t doing nothing, I was reading and just plain forgot to post. Only exciting thing about yesterday was actually getting outside to go do dinner (Logan’s Roadhouse meatloaf), first time out of the house in three days.
Got up this morning to micturate and there was a spider hanging from the roof right in front of the terlet! Now spidey, I am trying to get along better with our 8-legged brethern these days, but hanging around in front of me when I need to relieve myself earned him a double slipper slam.
To all, I have read your stories but I’m too far behind to catch up, so please accept the assorted tears, laughs, hugs and nods of complete understanding that I am placing on the buffet for your use.
Now need to go put Auntie’s Biotics in my ear. Oh joy.
