The Late Night MMP

Higgs likes leg water also, unless she’s otherwise occupied by eating tissues and leaving the bits on our bed.

Two panels marked, two more to go. I’m not going to do anything with the towels till tomorrow. Today, I’m going to finish marking the panels - maybe I’ll even stitch them up later.

It’s still raining.

Mooom, when Dad takes his pooch to the vet or groomer, she’s generally really good throughout the procedure, but as soon as she’s put on the floor, she proceeds to take a massive dump.

zombie, Ow!

metal mouse, you neglected to inform us of the days, hours, minutes and seconds until retirement. :stuck_out_tongue:

flytrap, you got yourself some pretty house pets there.

It’s a busy Monday, made busier by a departmental meeting this morning that everyone had to pitch their pet project to the grand boss (who we’re reporting directly to until he finds a replacement for our boss who just retired). C’mon, guys, it’s not like you couldn’t just walk into his office most days and say something. :smack:

Cats like that spot too. They also like between the shoulder blades.

As I understand it, skritching a tomcat there is a major insult in the cat universe. Naturally, I do it to Booger all the time. ;)

I find that cats don’t mind being scratched there.

An old friend of mine used to have a Himalayan that would do a Stevie Wonder impression whenever they scratched him on the base of his tail.

Cool 2gig

I used to pet sit a dog who unfortunately did want to have his butt scratched. He’d stand with his back to me while I scratched his rump and then would lift his tail try to rub his butt on my knee.
I don’t care how much I luv ya, that is not going to happen.

I also watched a cat who loved to have her belly rubbed, for real, not that fake rub my belly so I can shred your hand stuff.
Her mom was a vet, who got so used to rubbing her belly that she would forget and rub the belly of cat patients.

Howdy Y’all! Moanday has been survived. Dindin (leftovers from Sattidy) has been consumed. OYKW went to his place to deal with irk paperirk poor thing. I have a brisket slow roastin’ in the oven for tomorrow night’s and probably Wednesday night’s dindin. I’ve had a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for brisket with roasted N.O.T. and carrots for a couple of weeks. So, I’m cookin’ it tonight so’s I can re-heat tomorow.

{{{Ruble}}} sorry about your friend’s mom, but also glad she did not have the slow, lingerin’ death she could have had.

gigity how jake! I am truly jealous.

BBBobbio thanks for the link. I shall go and put my .02 worth.

Everyone else, I read, so, yays, boos, hugs, wedgies, noogies, trouts, chitlins, woohoos, how you doin’s as needed.

Supper was yum. Guess I should start sewing. Stoopit panels won’t finish themselves…

In my experience, cats of both sexes (fixed or not) like scritchies between the shoulders or at the base of the tail.

My previous cat, Felix, loved tummy rubs. Allie’s opinion on that topic is variable.

Big Fat Durwood Cat loves belly rubs. He’ll lay on my lap and let me skritch his belly for hours. I think it’s just an excuse to shed all over me.

OYKW likes butt skritches and belly rubs. I can even make his leg jump.

TMI, swampy… *waaaaaaaaaaaaaay *TMI!!

I just spent the better part of 2 hours at the sewing machine. I quit for the night - I’s tahred!! Time to recline and knit.

MWAH!!

I got my ‘this is not a bill’ from the hospital

$27,344.55.

Glad I have insurance.

One does wonder how much of that is profit.

Wow! Page two already? We have had a busy Monday this week!

Of the two feline overlords in Chez Cheez, Miss Chyna (the densest tortie on earth, that cat’s made of solid iridium, I swear) is a belly rub, back-lounging, sprawling, shameless exhibitionist. Sandy, on the other hand, will bite to taste blood if you try to pet her undercarriage. Rotten cat. If she weren’t so infernally beautiful, well, I’d keep her anyway. But it helps!

I would wonder.

None if this includes the doctors charges, that is a separate bill.
There were three doctors and the surgery lasted 5 hours, but I think two of the doctors were students, being that UofMD is a teaching hospital. What does a surgeon make an hour? What do student surgeons make?

There is such a thing as too much TMI.
Calm yourself.
Describe a recipe, or speak of the cement pond. Is the salinity 1.026? That is the salinity of seawater, and would allow some one with some what untoward intentions to add…baby brine shrimp, yes, baby brine shrimp to you swimming pool. They are quite entertaining, and very, very small.

Moses and Aaron on a stick.

When I was in the hospital after having a skin cancer removed, a doctor came for three minutes, poked my liver and said it was okay, and made $500.00.
