The MMP. That's it, just "The MMP".

Home from dindin over at the not a food truck local good steak house. OYKW had a nice sirloin and I had… a burger. Yes, a burger. A big, thick, medium burger with real cheddar cheese, bacon and red onions. Plus fries. 'Twas tres nummy.

Puck (AIR that’s what we named you) the only food trucks I’ve ever dealt with were ones that sold nasty overpriced sammiches, snacks, chips, cookies and sodas. Seriously overpriced and ick.

I think flytrap should be the one who lives in the apartment under Rosie. I, of course, shall have the penthouse.

We have food trucks here in Montreal, for the second year running. They’re only out in the warmer weather.

Today I bought a swab for cleaning my bass clarinet, and a music score. The score came with a CD!

I shall bask in whatever cuteness descends from Cupcake to me.

My sister’s roomie said the same thing! It’s only 160 sq ft, and no HVAC or plumbing, and only one light and one outlet - pretty primitive living…

Supper was very yum - chickie strips, smashed N.O.T., peas-n-carrots. Oatmeal cake later. I’s stuffded for now. And tahred. Busy, busy day.

Time to Occupy Recliner for the balance of the evening. MWAH!!

Food trucks are a big yumpie thing here. There is a catfish, chicken and fries kitchen in a big RV at the edge of down town Little Rock. There are many Mexican food trucks about, and for a while there was a gyro food truck near my work. Hot Dog Mike was a big deal for a while. Hot Dog Willy recently killed a really mean SOB former policeman who set his cart on fire at his house.

Well Swampy I am always the last to know around here because really in all honesty, I do tend to mind my own business. Leave me alone and I’ll leave you alone kind of thing.

However, I do believe that truly happy people are too busy being happy to meddle in other people lives and truly happy people don’t go around trying to make other people miserable. To find out that all is not well with the HFH, it just did my heart good. I know I shouldn’t take delight in the misery of others but what goes around comes around.
It explains a lot.

Ack! Hubby’s having surgery on Wednesday. He’s in a lot of pain, making him thoroughly grumpy.

Since he’s taking opioids for pain, I’m doing the leg work for all of the insurance, FMLA, short-term disability as well as the pre-surgery calendar.

Last night my right palm started to itch, to the point it swelled so the concave part became convex. I’ve had this symptom occasionally since I was a teen. Every doctor I’ve mentioned it to said it was psychosomatic, in other words all in my head.
I haven’t experienced it for about 10 years until yesterday. It kept me awake all night.

Today, no relief, except by putting my hand into ice water. Then, my throat began to itch, and the redness and itching started to creep up my arm, while my hand became, first tingly, then numb. The, it started in my other hand.
I took 50 mg of diphrenhydramine. Now, just my left thumb is itchy and tingly.

I guess it’s an allergy, I just have to find out to what. Or it’s an extreme reaction to the stress I’m feeling.

The bad part is, he’ll be out of work for 20-28 weeks. Lucky me.

{{{Nurse!}}} appropriate/inappropriate appendages shall be crossed re hubby’s surgery and speedy recovery. You take care of yourself as well, ok?

Sari the thing is whatever it is they brought it on themselves. Too bad. So sad.

Foodtruck still sounds icky.

On that note I shall go lie upon the bed with OYKW to watch teevee and well, we’ll see what comes up.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Home already? Did you get the [del]old fart[/del] early bird discount?

We has some actual food trucks, but a lot more carts. Depending upon the cart, hot dogs, hoagies, steak sammiches. Some just do fruit salad, chinese, greek, or middle eastern.

I want a penthouse, apt or pet, either one will suffice.

My cat, Allie, aka The Princess, seems to consider escorting me to the bathroom a vital catly obligation. She doesn’t do that with DH, just with me.

I laundered, I napped. Watching hockey.

: throws confetti with wild abandon :

Somewhere near San Jose? My other friend Jim lives out there.

{{{{{picu}}}} And maybe see the doc, if it’s spreading?

CA has earthquakes & big brush fires, & mudslides. Sounds more like No way, Jose to me.

oh, we’re definitely staying east of the Mississippi River

FINE.
Hmph

Well the 2 places with beach/mountain access, interstates, and pro hockey are central N.C. and central CA. And NC is humid. And the brush fires and mudslides are in the south around LA.

I don’t know the way to San Jose.
For Cupcake, who stays East of the Mother of Waters: This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between posts. Please try again in 3 seconds.

well, we could move closer to Casa de Spaz, that would cut the humidity down.

Sounds like all positives for NC to me.

But they don’t have MLB; need to have MLB, that’s a requirement!
