The Pass Over MMP

That was the last post on page 2, which means this is the first post on page 3.

I worked, I came home. Watching some hockey.

I have only three episodes left of Men Into Space, a 1959 TV series. Whatever shall I do? Back to 77 Sunset Strip on cable, I guess.

I am glad things are going well for Mama Bear. My Uncle put my Grandmother in a place where they had her on a cot in an activity room for a while. Girlfriend (v.?.?) and I took her cat to visit her. A very confused guy was urinating in a corner. I never have been terribly happy with that Uncle.

Finished boys soccer practice, they actually behaved so well I only called them knuckleheads once (usually 4-5 is the average per practice). Am thinking about taking my girls’ team to a tournament, but it’s 200 miles away and over 3 days, so I don’t know if the parents will buy in or not. Will ask them about it tomorrow.

Mac-n-cheese has hit the spot, now to relax and surf the internet.

Metal Mouse I have forgotten what ages your coach kids are. A friend of mine had daughters who went through the soccer leagues growing up. He said at age 8, about when they started, the kids had no sense of position, on either team. They would all just follow the ball all over the field, in a giant kid clump. It always sounded kind of cute.

I wouldn’t trust you with one of the peeping frogs in my back yard for five minutes.

No children-best $400 I ever spent.

I signed up to do a double Saturday; normally my day off. What the hell was I thinking? Oh well, it sounded like a good idea at the time.

Sinuses are driving me crazy.

One of my colleagues husband died today from a 7 yr battle with leukemia. She is a widow at 32 yoga. I think he was in his early 40’s. So sad for her.

years of age. 32 year old widow. Too sad.

Butters autocorrect is horrid. Sorry to hear about your co-worker.

Ruble no one to blame but yourself. Didn’t you do this last weekend too?

Nope, still solidly on page 1.

Hey, 'sup?

'Round these here parts most people get a four-day weekend for Easter; Good Friday and Easter Monday are national holidays. Half-day today, for some at least. I’m out of the office at 2.

Got the removal of a shattered molar planned for later this evening and I’m debating whether or not I should eat lunch because I’m pretty sure I’m going to be put under and I don’t wanna risk anything going wrong. I should probably call the dentist to make sure.

And we *ALL *thank you. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m taking half a day tomorrow unless I run out of work today, in which case I’ll take all of tomorrow. I’m not officially on my 4-day work week yet, but I do have some leave time and I need to get stuff done since we’re going to Mom’s on Sunday.

I don’t know why my brain insists on going weird places when I sleep, but last night’s journeys involved my nephew, the house where I grew up, My daughter at age 8, my best friend from high school and her house, and Turkey - the country, not the bird. Add to that, several nocturnal pee breaks, and I didn’t get much sleep. Stoopit brain…

But whatcha gonna do? Happy Thursday!

Know how to solve that problem? Put him in a round room.

To clarify, she doesn’t mean all the people on this planet, she means all of the creatures in the universe. :o

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 53 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 84 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. Another nice day in Ye Olde Home Towne. We will meet to discuss the possibility of home hospice for mom today. Not sure how I feel about this except I’m sure mom would be happier at home. Hospice would provide a hospital bed and there would be hospice workers to take care of stuff mom needs. Of course that means we’d have to take down the bed in her bedroom to make room for the hospital bed. We shall see I reckon.

Butters how sad!

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then purtification must commence.

Happy Thursday Y’all!

sniff That’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said too me…

And we thank you.

We’ve got kids here starting at age 4 (which I think is a bit too young) and yeah, the great clump is often seen until about age 8-9. I coach U12 (10-11 year old) and they are beginning to assert themselves as individuals and don’t feel the need to ‘clump’. They do have a need to talk while the coach is talking, however…

Your final sentence ranks in the annals with “Hold my Beer” and “What could possibly go wrong?” as things we all say…and shouldn’t.

My condolences to your colleague, Butters; way to early for anyone.
Garbage is out for pickup and still waiting for my new car to show up, so we’ll see what other work around the house I can ignore today.

I believe you are correct.

HappY Thorsday!

It’s a N.O.S. 49 degrees outside, kind of chilly.

I slept pretty well again last night.from 11:30 to 7, only up once and feel back asleep pretty quickly. I only stayed up that late to watch Hap and Leonard. I finally found something on TV that I actually look forward to watching, although I was getting into some Brittish shows. But DirectV doesn’t carry that channel and it’s too far away for the antenna to pick up.

Same old same old today.
Still working on the taxes. I’m not liking taxact very much this year.

The warranty has expired on the lawn mower but they are sending me a new one anyway. Very nice of them, but I kind of feel bad taking it. Then again, as one of my friends used to say, When Fate throws a gift into your lap, it’s bad manners to throw it back.
The new mower should be here in a week or so, meanwhile the dandelions keep growing.

Clothes are washing, dishwasher has been unloaded, animals have been fed and watered, dog has been out twice, breakfast is in the oven… good start to the day.
{{{Swampy and mom}}}

I’m sorry for your friend Butters.

'Beamer is off to school. He tells me he wants to get up earlier  so that he can stay in bed relaxing longer before I make him get up and get dressed. Kids these days. Why when I was his age, I could get up, get dressed, grab breakfast and be out the door and on my bike heading for school in 10 minutes. (Bathed the night before to save time.) Sleep is precious!

'Beamed just informed me that she has detention because she has been late too often. I might make her start riding the bus. She’d have to get up a bit earlier, but there would be none of this nonsense about not coming downstairs in time.

So endeth today’s episode of “Getting the Children to School”.

blurf at irk of course, where else would I be? I saw my Dr this morning and all is well I guess. I need for my new glasses to arrive hopefully by tomorrow.

It’s finally raining. I can’t even remember the last time it rained. We really need it. Hopefully it will calm my sinuses down. I have been eating allergy pills like candy.

For the last two nights we have managed not to cook so I had cereal for dinner. We have/had skettie makings but neither of us wanted to cook. So, I guess today will be skettie day.

Swampy I would imagine Mom would be more comfy at home. I know I would. Here is an extra {{{{Swampy}}}}.
