Supper was chickie, broccoli, and instant smashed N.O.T. (judge ye not!!) - we’s both stuffded. The house is open to the loverly mild day. We’ll get another tomorrow, but rain is supposed to hit on Saturday. Of course. Oh well.
It’s been a pretty good, if busy, day.
Dindin has been ingested and we both have rotissed chikin and N.O.T. sallit for N.O.L. tomorrow. The ham is bakin’ away as I decided to go ahead and do that. It should be done around six so’s I can let it “rest” (apparently bakin’ takes a lot out of a ham) a while before it’s refrigerated. It’s a spiral ham so it’ll be easy to take off slices to heat up if desired. Thus is life at da cave.

big kitty, in a pinch, ~1 lb of white rice in a cotton sock and microwaved for 2 minutes is a good heat pack. The rice will be good for a couple of months.
metal mouse, were your jeans all the same cut? When I buy jeans, they are generally more snug than the old ones, but cotton gives after a number of wearings/washings.
Once month end is survived, I’ll be going to see I Am Not Your Negro at the local art/classic cinema and have dinner at the coffee house across the street with friends. I’m taking the next day off to get a new airbag installed as part of the big recall.
One more hour before I can go home.

I sat outside for a bit today, just enjoying the spring like weather. It’s clothing confusion time out there, I saw everything from shorts and t-shirts, to long pants with jackets and hats. Lots of baby strollers too.
I am so dreading tomorrow, but I’ll probably have fun after I get out there.
Work was busy. I went home, walked Gordie, and took a nap. Asian BBQ chicken with lemongrass thyme rice is cooking, a load of whites are in the dryer, got Blackhawks hockey on the TV, and I got a glass of Voodoo Ranger 8 Hop Pale Ale in front of me. Life is good.

So at the Symphomy I saw people in shorts and flip flops and very dressed up folk. I was midrange. At the intermission or intermezzo as it was called I needed caffeine badly and was starving so I got a cup of real coke, a bag of tater chipsnd a regular pair of Reese’s PB cups. The tab was $5. I said is that all and she said: "this is not the movies.
My knees hurt. Time for some more Rooster dick cartilage injections.
Red, the problem was that they came from several different sources and types, and two pair came in via mail-order (those are the tight ones) and I didn’t ask to try them on…big mistake.
Refereed the outdoor soccer game, first of the year for me, and did alright, kept up with the 12-year old kids and didn’t screw up (well, much). Now thinking about bed real soon…
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 54 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 81 and N.O.S. for the day. Tomorrow the high will be low 70s and on Sunday mid 60s. Weather be weird. Takin’ N.O.L. to Sammie and family around eleven this mornin’. The rolls will need to be baked and the beans and ham (if desired) heated up but they can do that when they’re ready to eat. After I do that who knows what will happen. It’s a willy-nilly kind of day.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. I will also purtify at some point as I must be about the public.

Apparently it is not the done thing to say that you’re applying for global entry simply because it gives you TSA Pre-Check as part of the deal. Must remember not to say that!
I’m feeling really exhausted this morning - getting out of the sack was a chore. But I’m showered, dressed, and in the office, so there’s that.

Real coke is better than that crappy coke I got last night. Was at a vending machine and accidentally pressed the wrong button. Oh well, it gave me a bit of caffeine, so I’m grateful for that at least.
I changed the sheets without feline assistance. I should get an adulting award.
Cruising the boards early and quick before doing some shopping. Sometimes dull is nice.
I believe that adulting is illegal in some states.
