The sure sign of Spring MMP

Worked, came home eating and watching hockey.

“February Spaghetti, Gigolo at your service”
And congrats to the nephew!

Glad you had a good time, Nut.

Home from the road trip.
We went and looked at my:rolleyes: house, just the outside, walked around the yard and sat on the stone wall. The one in the back, not the one in the front with the pointy stones.
I saw a few things that need to be fixed, I wonder how picky the FHA appraiser is going to be?

The trees were in bloom. There is one white dogwood and two pink trees that I have no idea what they are. Maybe some kind of cherry?

The neighbor came out to talk to us. He has to be close to 90 and seems nice.

N.O.L. was Sonic, not Taco Hell Spidey, the getting lunch and getting gas were two separate events. I have never eaten at a Sonic before, it wasn’t bad.

I’m sleepy.

Up waaaayyyy too early. Off to go meet some friends & get high.*
*Oh knock it off, I mean literally get high.

Up, caffeianted, and off to work.

Good morning, everyone. Happy Saturday.

There isn’t much happening around here. I’m happy to report that the construction guys finally came yesterday, to treat the mold that was in the attic above my bedroom ceiling. It’s about time. We had an ice dam happen back at the end of February. I promptly called my insurance company, they got the ceiling ripped out in March, and hopefully, and now that the mold has been treated, they’ll get finish up, and get the ceiling replaced soon. I REALLY want my bedroom back! Apparently, according to the construction guys, they have been swamped with work, because of all the damage the winter weather did to lots of homes.

My husband will be home sometime after dark, tonight. He’ll be leaving again early, early Monday morning. At least he’ll get one day at home.

I think that I’ll be planting some flowers today, providing it warms up a bit more than it has been. It’s supposed to make it up to 70 degrees today. We’ll see. I’ve got three flats of flowers, and some herbs that I want to get planted, so that’ll kill some time this afternoon. I still want to get more flowers, and I need some more potting soil. I see a trip to Menards sometime in the near future.

I was up way too early this morning, so I made a batch of taco salad, with some leftover taco filling that I had in the fridge. I’ll send it with my husband when he leaves, for a few of his meals next week.

I suppose I need more coffee, and then try to get the rest of the day underway. Have a good day, everyone!

Woke up way too early by thunderstorms. We need the rain. Thank goodness I have the day off so I can go back to sleep.

**sari **- I’m pretty sure FHA inspectors are only interested in structural and safety issues - they won’t care about cosmetic stuff. For example, they care if the shingles have X number of years of life left, but they don’t care if the paint on the door frame is peeling. At least, that has been my experience with mortgage inspectors. And the pink flowering trees could be crabapple, or redbud. I’m pretty sure cherry trees are no longer in bloom, but my psychic powers fail me at the moment.

I crashed around 10 and Higgs just woke me around 5:30. Not ideal, but doable. I’ve got to empty the dishwasher, do a couple of loads of laundry, paint the shed trim, and help **FCD **finish disassembling the shed and hauling the bits to the dump. Good times!

I’m guessing I won’t be working on the garden or landscaping till tomorrow. Later this afternoon, I’ve got a couple of people coming to pick up the laminate and the floor tiles we’re giving away - once that’s done, I think we’ll have space to get the car back in the garage with a little rearranging.

Busy day ahead. I should crawl back in bed for a little bit…

Happy Saturday!

The parents run a zoo, so his purpose is to hang around and look cute until a girly one is acquired, at which point his job switches to babby production.

And he’s not a rat, not that there’s anything wrong with rats.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 57 Amurrkin out and foggy with a predicted high of 77 for the day. Rumor has it the bright, shiny, yellow thing will be in the sky today. When it gets dry enough, mowage shall commence. Rah. Before that I shall go lop off some low hangin’ branches on the Bradford Pear trees. No fun runnin’ into low hangin’ branches whilst on a ridin’ mower.

Spidey have fun gettin’ high.

Butters glad y’all are gettin’ rain. Keep it there for a while 'k?

Now I need more caffiene and should consider what to feed rumbly tummy. Then, the fun begins.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

We’re up, showered, dressed, and about to run some errands before chores begin. BREAKFAST TIME!!!

RT is home!!!

Completely unrelated, if you’re going to invite someone to something and then decide that you’re not going, don’t post on facebook publicly that you’ve gone there with someone else. Apparently my feelings don’t matter at all.

If it was anyone other than Dave’s son I wouldn’t put up with such shit and I’m sure he knows that and that’s why he does stuff like this.

Well, anyways, it’s day one of my show, first show of the year.

Sari, what did the flowers look like? There are pink dogwoods, magnolias, redbuds, many varieties of cherry, the list goes on and on…

Happy Saturday!

It looks like it’s going to be another beautiful day.

I know they aren’t dogwoods. I don’t know many types of trees but dogwoods are one of the few I can recognize. I doubt if this pic will help.

FCM The FHA is picky about peeling paint when the house was built before 1978 because of the lead. I didn’t notice it last time but the underside of the balcony is peeling. I’ll be borrowing extra for the repairs, I just hope the repairs don’t cost more than the extra I can borrow.

Hi Mumpers

Project days done, randomly jumped into a day anna half of shop work. Yeah for $$$$.

Back when awake.

Jim

Happy Saturday!

It’s been a hell of a week!

Filbert, I actually had a pacu many, many years ago. The thing was afraid of it’s own shadow and grew to be quite large before he committed suicide. Although we had a weighted lid on our big tank, he leapt out of of the tank one day when I was at work. He had the good grace to land on some folded up newspaper, so I wrapped him up and took him to the dumpster.

I found out yesterday how much my son’s overseas schooling is going to cost. I sure hope he gets a scholarship. While, thankfully, I have enough money to cover it, it does put a dent in my finances too.

It’s rather cool and cloudy out and is supposed to rain a little bit today. Just a couple of days ago it was 93 degrees out; right now it’s about 50 degrees and we may hit 60.

I’d be January Pancake.

Welp, I can’t get my tires replaced today. The tire place is closed on the weekends. For the next two weeks, my days off are an actual weekend. :smack: Guess I’ll go over there Monday. (Note to self: check the hours before you make plans)

Off to the farmer’s market, then.

I’m September Toast.
Not much to say. I’m doing laundry. I practiced some of my clarinets this morning. I’ll probably practice my other clarinets this afternoon. Yes, I have too many instruments.

I guess I am May Pretzel, or May Bacon Cheeseburger. Although I pulled off the bacon to give to Sah-dog.
I need to get to irk.

I think the paca is cute. I wouldn’t want to eat one though.

{{{Sticky}}} that was a sucky thing to do

There was a line backed up all the way to the interstate exit at the farmer’s market, so guess where I didn’t go. At least I got a good drive down the Parkway out of it. Maybe tomorrow if I go before Sunday-go-to-meeting time I’ll be able to get in.

I’m giving up on getting anything done today.

“Hi. I’m May. And you *can *has Cheeseburger.”
