The past few days have been a haze of pain, good drugs, naps and PT.
Took a shower yesterday which was exhausting but man it felt good. Then I cursed my way through PT
We went for brekkie this morning and then I took another nap. mr ems is currently mowing the yard and he has a load of laundry going. He is doing a really good job of taking care of everything in the house and me although coming up with meals etc and all the cooking is starting to get to him. He appreciates me
I think I will close my eyes for a bit then do my PT. Oh what an exciting life I have.
did not actually go on field trip, but sciatica is gone again
that’s good: I have a BBQ to go to (packs up a duck)
I voted, rosie!
and it’s RAINING! stands outside with face and palms turned to sky YAY!
Went to the [del]mud bog[/del]County Fair today. It was as corny as I expected, but still ran circles of sophistication around the one for Cottonfield County.
**BBBobbio **- we passed on the fair this year, but we went last year - it was OK, but pretty sad compared to the one in our county in FL. We had lovely weather for it last year, so there was fresh air and sunshine.
Next weekend, we’re going down for the Blessing of the Fleet. **FCD **wants to see the kiddie tractor pull, but there’ll be one both days, so I’m not sure when we’ll go. At least the weather, so far, promises to be nice.
Capt. Leonard made supper - I had fried shrimp and my sweetie had fried oysters. Now I’m thinking I’ll assume the knit position and chill the evening away. If we don’t have a volunteer for tomorrow, I may start things up…
I’m really not sure what happened, but we’ve become the parents of a 9-week old long-hair chee-wah-wah. He’s got papers and everything, but he doesn’t pee on them. So far, he seems to have unlearned the whole “pee and poop on the grass outside” concept.
