I don’t understand how people can survive with allergies. I don’t know if I’ve developed some or if I’m getting sick but in either case, it sucks. I woke up at 9am and was totally happy and chirpy until I tried to stand up. Made it to the bathroom and back to bed and went back to sleep as soon as my sweetie brought me some generic sudafed and water. Woke up again at 2 and took more drugs and some tea.
Now I’m making a valiant attempt to get some homework done. One of my government classmates is trying to get me into an argument about freedom vs. equality but she’s barking up the wrong tree. I am not a poli sci major. I don’t caaaarrrreeeee. I’m just doing what I was told to do for the week and that’s it. God, I hope the whole semester isn’t like this. I just wanna be an informed voter dammit!
The cute little Maddie-baby is looking oh so squeezable and my niece is looking disgustingly normal for someone who just pushed out a baby after 14 hours of labor. I’m jealous of my sister, who gets to hug the little crap factory.
Was supposed to help the sweetie’s bro move tomorrow but not any more. YAY!
Made some phone charms last night. Mostly Christmassy ones but a few normal ones too.
Been a long day. A lot of it on the phone with tech support. Bleargh! Everything works however so there’s that. OYKW swiped General Tso’s dindin. NUM!!!

I’m pretty sure I’m being kicked by allergies. I don’t feel sick, but I’m snuffly and sneezy and I’ve got a tickle in my throat. This is not fun. :mad: Plus there’s no medicinal ice cream in the house, dammit. Oh well. I think I’ll mosey back to beddy-bye.
Moooooooom (and anyone else who needs it) I have some ice cream if you wanna share… I need some to help me deal with this headache that won’t go away. I even have chocolate and strawberry syrup!
I managed to bend one of my fingernails all the way back today. It’s very disturbing to look at your hand and see the nail pointing the wrong way. Now my nail bed is all funky purple colored.
Oh well, hockey is on TV, so it can’t be all bad, right?
I’ve got dinner cooking away and today is my Friday. I’ve spent the last two days in meetings and didn’t get as much real work done as I would have liked.

Got a bunch of government homework done despite the best efforts of the unruly dogs to prevent any learning today.
Din din was disgustingly healthy but surprisingly good (and filling). Brown rice with 4 kinds of dried beans, peppers and onions with some Mrs. Dash for flavor. My sweetie asked why I’ve been getting progressively healthier in my cooking over the last 2 weeks. Honestly, it’s very hard to take a nutrition class during the day and then cook garbage at night. Luckily he’s very openminded about food (he was raised by a cook with a “you eat what I put in front of you” mentality and it stuck).
Now it’s time for more Chef! and City of Heroes. Thanks to the lawyers being pissy, my sweetie’s brother’s closing isn’t happening tomorrow so we have an unexpected day off together. I know I should spend it doing homework but the call of CoH and maybe Old Sturbridge Village may prove to be too strong to resist.
Hmm, I have plenty of booze in the house, but I’m too lazy to make a drink. Frankly, I don’t think I’d finish one anyway. I’m just not in the mood for one.

It is now 3:30am here. i was awakened about an hour ago by a lot of wheezing and coughing. It was me. :rolleyes:
I have now ingested 2, count them, 2 glasses of apple brandy from a local vintner and am going to wobble back to bed.
I was going to sleep in a bit. I fully intended to get another hour or so. Then the cats decided the bed was a perfect rasslin’ mat. So I’m up, dressed, and killing a little time before going to Mom’s. I hope I remember everything I’m supposed to take.
Last night was not restful and I’m not sure why. I bet the 90000% humidity might have something to do with it. And it’s supposed to rain all day and into the night and the weekend. Enough already, dammit! If Ophelia starts aiming in this direction, I can’t be held responsible for my actions…
Time to grab a bit of caffeine. And maybe some toast or something. Or a nap - that would be nice, too.
