It’s Firday! Elebentyone!!11!!! Although I am thisclose to losing it already at irk. Tomorrow I’m hanging at the barn and riding WB, Sunday going to the antique fair but bringing no money so I’ll just watch my friend spend the big bucks. It’s sunny, there’s nothing good on the lunch menu in the cafeteria and I didn’t bring lunch. I guess I’ll just starve…
WetOne does the cafeteria have ice cream? Eat ice cream for lunch. It’s dairy, so it’s healthy.

I am up way too early. But, it’s for a good cause. I needed to be up before the mail lady (it usually comes around 2pm but she comes unpredictably early on Firdays).
I have mailed my acceptance fee ($150 fricken dollars!!!) to UConn! I would have preferred to wait a tad longer but it is due by the 1st. I have not come this far to be written off due to a technicality.
Hmm, homework I guess. A few more pages to read, 2 discussions to post, 4 discussions to respond to, 2 essays to write, and a test to take and I’ll be done with government for the week. One class almost down, 4 to go. :dubious:
Good morning everyone. I’ve been up for a little over two hours, but haven’t made any coffee yet. I’m drinking water right now because I feel dehydrated. I don’t know why; I didn’t have any adult libations last night.
I have some bills to pay and then I’ll cry because my account will be puny.
I could use about a grand extra, but don’t have it, so will soldier on.
It’s rather humid outside and kind of warm, but overcast too.
The dogs have finally settled down for this morning. It’s difficult to type when you have dogs jumping up on the side of the chair and pawing at me. No, they didn’t need to potty, they just wanted attention.
Holy crap Taters, I could have written that post - word for word. Well, the account would be my sweetie’s account but same thing. He had a nice paycheck this week, with about $160 worth of OT which immediately went to my acceptance fee. It seems like there’s never any getting ahead. He’ll have OT in his next paycheck too yay for fall sports! I’m sure something will come up in the next two weeks that’ll take possession of that OT also.

Soapy I too had to sit in my car this morning and convince myself not to run away. I probably sat in the parking lot at work for 10 minutes before I managed to walk into the building. Then I find out our lovely new system crashed. And I’m out of chocolate…
At least you two make it to the parking lot before wondering whether to run away; I have a hard time convincing myself to roll out of bed and shower to go into work.
Dishwasher is loaded up, except for one thing which I found here in the den. One more pot to wash too. Then I’ll wipe down the counters, etc.
Heading out to pay the water bill and cancel the cable. Can’t justify the extra $80 per month for two cable boxes when we watch cable for maybe 5 hours a month. Might stop at {snerk} BJ’s {snerk} to use our gift card (that we got 2 years ago) to stock up on TOILET PAPER!!!
Got a Coach coupon in the mail. $100 off a purchase of $300 or more. Why do they send me this crap? I bought 1 birthday present there and now they wont leave me alone. Expires on 10/2. Trying to see if any of my FB friends want it but there’s not much time if I have to mail it to them.

I haz a :(. WBT is moving out at the end of October. On the down side, I’m losing the World’s Best Tenant; on the plus side, I can move downstairs more easily. minus: no one to shovel & salt; plus: I can charge more rent for the upstairs; minus: no one to lift and carry; <sigh>
